2014β15 Topklasse
The 2014β15 Topklasse season was the fifth season of the third tier Dutch football league. A total of 32 teams participated: 24 from the 2012β13 Topklasse, and the remaining eight from the 2013β14 Hoofdklasse. As usual, the competition is divided into two leagues: "Saturday" and "Sunday", who differ by the day their games are usually played. For the fourth consecutive season, no team was relegated from the Eerste Divisie, this time because all 2013β14 Topklasse teams had declined promotion into professionalism. Topklasse
The Derde Divisie (; en, Third Division), formerly known as Topklasse (; en, Top Class), is the fourth tier of football in the Netherlands, which had its inaugural season as a third tier in 2010β11 and as a fourth tier in 2016β17. The league is placed between the Tweede Divisie and the Vierde Divisie (formerly Hoofdklasse), the third and fifth tiers of Dutch football, respectively. The introduction of the then Topklasse resulted from discussions between the Royal Dutch Football Association, the ''CoΓΆperatie Eerste Divisie'' (the clubs in the Eerste Divisie) and the ''Centraal Overleg Hoofdklassers'' (the clubs in the Hoofdklasse). Maassluis
Maassluis () is a city in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. The municipality had a population of in and covered of which was water. It received city rights in 1811. History Maassluis was founded circa 1340 as a settlement next to a lock (in Dutch: ''sluis'') in the sea barrier between the North Sea and Rotterdam. Originally ''Maeslandsluys'', it was part of Maesland. In 1489 the settlement was sacked. During the Eighty Years' War, Philips of Marnix, lord of Sint-Aldegonde, started to build a defense wall but before its completion, the Spanish captured it in 1573 and Philips of Marnix was taken prisoner. Capelle aan den IJssel (; en, Capelle on the IJssel) is a small city and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. SV Spakenburg is a Dutch football club based in Bunschoten. It was founded in 1931 and currently competes in the Tweede Divisie. It shares a football rivalry with IJsselmeervogels that is also from Bunschoten-Spakenburg. History The club was founded on 15 August 1931 as ''Stormvogels'' and soon renamed ''Windvogels''. Rijnsburgse Boys is a football club from Rijnsburg in the Netherlands. The club was established on 24 March 1930. They currently play in the Tweede Divisie. The club won the Saturday Hoofdklasse A title in the 2005β06, 2006β07 and 2008β09 seasons. Since being founded in 1930 till 1957, the club has played on several locations in Rijnsburg. Since 1957 the club moved to Sportpark Middelmors, where it's still playing their homegames. ONS BOSO Sneek is a Dutch football club from Sneek, playing in the Derde Divisie. Club history 20th century: Foundation and move Oranje Nassau Sneek was founded on 4 April 1932 and initially played its matches at the Sportpark Leeuwarderweg. FC Lisse is a Dutch football club from Lisse which was founded in 1981. It currently plays in the Tweede Divisie. History The history of FC Lisse is linked to its Catholic religion, the first version of a football club being formed in 1911 by a local Catholic priest, called Lissese Voetbal Vereniging, which was later renamed Lisse Racing Club.
