The 2014–15 Sydney FC season was the club's 10th season since its establishment in 2004. The club participated in the A-League for the 10th time and the FFA Cup for the first time. Saša Ognenovski
Sasa Ognenovski ( mk, Саша Огненовски, Saša Ognenovski; born 3 April 1979) is an Australian soccer player who played as a central defender, who represented the Australia national team on 22 occasions, and who last played for Sydney FC in the A-League. He is currently the assistant coach of the NPL Victoria 3 team Preston Lions. In 2010, he was named Asian Footballer of the Year, won a position in the K-League Best XI, and won the AFC Champions League with Seongnam. Peter Triantis (born 17 January 1992) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for Bankstown City. Lefteris "Terry" Antonis ( el, Λευτέρης "Τέρι" Αντώνης; born 26 November 1993) is an Australian association football player who plays for the Western Sydney Wanderers as a midfielder. Alex Jason Brosque (; born 12 October 1983) is an Australian former professional footballer who was the captain of A-League club Sydney FC. He played primarily as a striker but played predominantly as a midfielder in central midfield during his time in Japan. Shane Edward Smeltz (born 29 September 1981) is a New Zealand Australian footballer. He plays as a striker for Guiseley AFC in the Northern Premier League, the 7th tier of English football.
