The 2014–15 Sydney FC season was the club's 10th season since its establishment in 2004. The club participated in the A-League for the 10th time and the FFA Cup for the first time. Sydney FC
Sydney Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales. It competes in the country's premier men's competition, A-League Men, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). Saša Ognenovski
Sasa Ognenovski ( mk, Саша Огненовски, Saša Ognenovski; born 3 April 1979) is an Australian soccer player who played as a central defender, who represented the Australia national team on 22 occasions, and who last played for Sydney FC in the A-League. He is currently the assistant coach of the NPL Victoria 3 team Preston Lions. In 2010, he was named Asian Footballer of the Year, won a position in the K-League Best XI, and won the AFC Champions League with Seongnam. Peter Triantis (born 17 January 1992) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for Bankstown City. Club career Youth career Triantis' youth career began in 2009 at APIA Leichhardt Tigers before moving a year later to Sydney Olympic FC where he quickly forced his way into the First Grade squad. Terry Antonis
Lefteris "Terry" Antonis ( el, Λευτέρης "Τέρι" Αντώνης; born 26 November 1993) is an Australian association football player who plays for the Western Sydney Wanderers as a midfielder. Alexander Joseph Gersbach ( ; born 8 May 1997) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a left back for MLS team Colorado Rapids and the Australia national team. He made his debut for Australia in 2016, having previously played numerous times for the nation's youth teams. Alex Jason Brosque (; born 12 October 1983) is an Australian former professional footballer who was the captain of A-League club Sydney FC. He played primarily as a striker but played predominantly as a midfielder in central midfield during his time in Japan. Club career Brosque was born in Sydney, Australia, to Uruguayan parents, who migrated to Australia in the 70s. Christopher Josif Hagi Gligor (born 8 April 1995) is a former Australian soccer player, who last played as a central midfielder for Sydney Olympic. Shane Edward Smeltz (born 29 September 1981) is a New Zealand Australian footballer. He plays as a striker for Guiseley AFC in the Northern Premier League, the 7th tier of English football.
