2014–15 Liga III
The 2014–15 Liga III season is the 59th season of the Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 30 August. There is a new system, with five series of 13/14 teams that will play a regular season as a round-robin tournament. At the end of the regular season, the first team from each series will promote to Liga II. The last two teams from the series with 14 teams and the last one from the series with 13 teams will relegate to Liga IV. From the 12th placed teams, another three are relegated. To determine these teams, separate standings are computed, using only the games played against clubs ranked 1st through 11th. Teams At the end of 2013–14 season, FCM Dorohoi from Seria I, FC Voluntari from Seria II, CS Balotești from Seria III, FC Caransebeș from Seria IV, Șoimii Pâncota from Seria V and Fortuna Poiana Câmpina from Seria VI promoted to Liga II. Liga III
The Liga 3, most often spelled as Liga III, is the third level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia C to Liga III before the start of the 2006–07 season. 2014–15 Liga II
The 2014–15 Liga II was the 75th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The 23 teams were divided into two series (with 12 and 11 teams, respectively). The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The first six teams from each series played a play-off for promotion to Liga I. The teams placed 7th to 12th played in a Relegation play-out. The first team in each series was promoted at the end of the season to the Liga I, and the teams placed below the 10th place were relegated to the Liga III. AFC Fortuna Poiana Câmpina
Fortuna Poiana Câmpina was a Romanian football club from Poiana Câmpina, Prahova County founded in 2010. The team was dissolved in the summer of 2015. History It was founded in the summer of 2012 under the name of ''Fortuna Brazi'' after a merger between Prahova 2010 Tomșani and Chimia Brazi. Clubul Sportiv Balotești, commonly known as CS Balotești or simply as Balotești, is a Romanian football club from Balotești, Ilfov County founded in 2006. They currently play in the Liga IV – Ilfov County, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. Fotbal Club Voluntari (), commonly known as FC Voluntari or simply Voluntari, is a Romanian professional football club based in Voluntari, Ilfov County, which competes in the Liga I. FCM Dorohoi was a Romanian professional football club from Dorohoi, Botoșani County, Romania, founded in 2010. Home matches were played at Stadionul Municipal, the same stadium which Cristalul, former Dorohoi football team, used to play. History In spite they finishing 2nd in 2010–11 Liga IV Botoșani season, FCM Dorohoi qualifying for the Liga IV promotion play-off because the second team of FC Botoșani, the winner of the league, was disbanded at the end of the season. 2015–16 Liga II
The 2015–16 Liga II was the 76th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 29 August. The 28 teams were divided in two series (with 14 teams each). The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The first six teams from each series played a play-off for promotion to Liga I. Because of switching to a system with just one series of 22 teams from next season, there will be 11 teams relegated from Liga II this year. After the regular season, the last two teams in each series relegated to Liga III; the last 3 teams in each play-out pool also relegated, while the 3rd placed teams in the play-out faced off in a game that determined the 11th relegated team.
