: ''For information on all Lamar University sports, see Lamar Cardinals and Lady Cardinals'' The 2014–15 Lamar Lady Cardinals basketball team represented Lamar University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Cardinals, led by second year head coach Robin Harmony, played their home games at the Montagne Center and are members of the Southland Conference. Two Lady Cardinals were recognized by the Southland Conference at the conclusion of the regular season. JaMeisha Edwards was named to both the conference All-Defense team and the All-Southland Conference, 1st team. Dominique Edwards was named to the All-Southland Conference, 3rd team. Off season Randy Schneider was promoted to Associate Head Coach on August 4. Lejon Wright joined the Lady Cardinals staff as an assistant coach. Lamar Cardinals And Lady Cardinals
The Lamar Cardinals and Lady Cardinals (variously Cardinals or Cards) refers to the college athletics teams of Lamar University, in Beaumont, Texas. The Cardinals and Lady Cardinals teams compete in seventeen NCAA Division I sports as a member of the Southland Conference. The Cardinals rejoined the Southland after spending the 2021–22 athletic year in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). General history The school has participated in practically every level of collegiate athletics from its inception as a junior college in 1923 to its realization as a university in 1971. The newest teams are the reinstated football team, which returned in 2010 and Women's softball, which returned in the 2013 season. Donald W. Reynolds Center is an 8,355-seat multi-purpose arena in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Designed by HOK Sport (now known as Populous Co.), the arena opened in 1998 and is named for Donald W. Reynolds. Located on the University of Tulsa campus, it is home to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball, Golden Hurricane basketball and volleyball teams. The 2014–15 Tulsa Golden Hurricane women's basketball team will represent the University of Tulsa during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The season marks the first for the Golden Hurricane as members of the American Athletic Conference. The team, coached by head coach Matilda Mossman in her fourth year, plays their home games at the Reynolds Center. They finished the season 18–14, 12–6 in AAC play to finish in a tie for third place. They lost in quarterfinals of the American Athletic women's tournament to Tulane. The 2014–15 Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team represented the University of Louisiana at Lafayette during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Ragin' Cajuns were led by third-year head coach Garry Brodhead and played all their home games at the Cajundome with the a select few (mainly during the Women's Basketball Invitational) at the Earl K. Robin Harmony
Robin Harmony (born October 20, 1961) is an American college basketball coach. She currently serves as head coach of the College of Charleston Cougars women's basketball team. She previously was head coach at Lamar and St. Thomas University. Prior to that, she served as assistant coach (six years) and associate head coach (twelve years) at Miami Hurricanes. She split her stay at the University of Miami by serving as an assistant coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University for one season prior to her return to the Hurricanes. Playing career Harmony was a three-year letter winner at Hershey High School located in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
