2014–15 LEB Oro Season
The 2014–15 LEB Oro season is the 19th season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto, the Spanish basketball second division. It is named Adecco Oro as its sponsored identity. The season will start on October 3 and will end on May 15, 17 or 19 with the last game of the promotion playoffs finals. Competition format Regular season The regular season was played by round-robin system. After the first leg of the season, the two top qualified teams played the Copa Príncipe de Asturias and the leader will be the host team. At the final of the season: *The regular season winner promoted directly to Liga ACB. *Teams qualified between 2nd and 9th, joined the promotion play-offs to ACB. Quarterfinals will be played in a best-of-3 format and semifinals and the final in a best-of-5 one. *Only the last qualified team was relegated to LEB Plata. The 2013–14 LEB Oro season was the 18th season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto, a Spanish basketball league. It was named Adecco Oro as its sponsored identity. The champion of the regular season, River Andorra MoraBanc was promoted to Liga ACB. The teams between second and ninth position joined the promotion play off, where the winner, Ford Burgos was promoted too to the higher division. Liga ACB
The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administrated by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams relegated to the LEB Oro and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The competition was founded as the ACB Primera División on 1983 following the decision of clubs in the Liga Nacional, founded in 1957, to break away from the Spanish Basketball Federation and professionalize the league. CB Clavijo
Club Baloncesto Clavijo is a professional Basketball team based in Logroño, La Rioja. The team currently plays in league LEB Oro. History Founded in 1967, CB Clavijo started their first years playing in the provincial league and after achieving several promotions, reaches the Segunda División, third tier, in 1977. It played nine seasons, qualifying twice for the promotion playoffs to the second league, but after 1986 starts declining until 1998, when a group of former players and directors planned to take the helm of the club and to take it to the top divisions. In 2001, Clavijo clinched the promotion to Liga EBA, where it played two seasons with former FC Barcelona player Salva Díez as part of the roster of the club. Club Melilla Baloncesto is a professional basketball team based in Melilla that plays in the LEB league. This is the only team in Spain that played all LEB seasons. Club Baloncesto Breogán, S.A.D., also known as Río Breogán for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball club based in Lugo, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB. The club was founded in 1966 by the Varela-Portas brothers. The team played for the first time in the Spanish top league in 1970. Team information and location *Notes: Viten Getafe is the new name of last season's champion Fundación Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, the reserve team of Baloncesto Fuenlabrada. FC Barcelona Bàsquet B (English: FC Barcelona Basketball B), commonly referred to as FC Barcelona B () and colloquially known as Barça B (), is the reserve team of the FC Barcelona. The 2014–15 ACB season was the 32nd season of the Spanish basketball league, also called Liga Endesa in its sponsored identity. The regular season started on 4 October 2014 and finished on 24 May 2015. The playoffs, joined by the eight first qualified teams, was played between 28 May and 24 June 2015. Bàsquet Club Andorra S.A., also known as MoraBanc Andorra for sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball team that is based in Andorra la Vella, Andorra. Though based in Andorra, the club plays in the Spanish basketball league system. The team plays in the LEB Oro with home games played at the Poliesportiu d'Andorra. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada, S.A.D., known as just Fuenlabrada and also Carplus Fuenlabrada because of sponsorship reasons,, is a professional basketball team based in Fuenlabrada, Spain.
