2014–15 Ergotelis F.C. Season
The 2014–15 season was Ergotelis F.C., Ergotelis' 85th season in existence, 9th season in the Super League Greece, and the second consecutive season in the top tier since the club's latest promotion from the Football League (Greece), Football League. Ergotelis also participated in the Greek cup, entering the competition in the Second Round. After a turbulent season, with many managerial changes, player transfers, multiple matches being postponed in mid-season and competitors withdrawing from the league, Ergotelis was relegated after finishing in 16th place during the regular season. The club ultimately was placed in 15th place post-season, after PAE Kerkyra, Kerkyra was relegated for illegal transfer of shares. Ergotelis Football Club () is a Greek professional Association football, football club based in Heraklion, Crete, which competes in the Heraklion Football Clubs Association, FCA Heraklion A1, the fourth tier of the Greek football league system, and hosts its home games at the Pankritio Stadium. Established in 1929 and named after the ancient Cretan Ergoteles of Himera, Olympic runner, it is part of ''Gymnastics Club Ergotelis'' (). Bojan Šaranov (Serbian Cyrillic: Бојан Шаранов; born 22 October 1987) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serbian League Belgrade club Brodarac. Minas Pitsos (, born 18 October 1980) is a former professional Greek football player, who played as a left-back. He spent the majority of his career representing clubs of his hometown Heraklion across various levels of the Greek football league system, with a short spell in Athens-based Greek giants Panathinaikos. Charalampos "Babis" Lykogiannis (; born 22 October 1993), also known as ''Lykos'' (Greek for "wolf" – from the first letters of his surname), is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Serie A club Bologna and the Greece national team.
