2014–15 Charlotte 49ers Women's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Charlotte 49ers women's basketball team represents the University of North Carolina at Charlotte during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The 49ers, led by third year head coach Cara Consuegra, play their home games at Dale F. Halton Arena and were members of Conference USA. They finished the season 15–17, 10–8 in C-USA play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the C-USA women's tournament where they lost to WKU. Cara Ashley Consuegra (born March 4, 1979) is the current head coach of the Charlotte 49ers women's basketball team. Kennesaw, Georgia
Kennesaw is a suburban city northwest of Atlanta in Cobb County, Georgia, United States, located within the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. Known from its original settlement in the 1830s until 1887 as Big Shanty, it became Kennesaw under its 1887 charter. According to the 2010 census, Kennesaw had a population of 29,783, but in 2019 it had a population of 34,077 showing a 14.4% increase in population over the past decade. Catawba College
Catawba College is a private college in Salisbury, North Carolina. Founded in 1851 by the North Carolina Classis of the Reformed Church in Newton, the college adopted its name from its county of origin, Catawba County, before moving to its current home of Salisbury in 1925. Catawba College still holds loose ties with the successor to the Reformed Church, the United Church of Christ. It offers over 70 undergraduate degrees.
