The 2014–15 CA Osasuna season is the 94th season in the club's history. Season overview July On 3 July: The polish former striker Jan Urban makes his return to El Sadar as coach for his former club Osasuna. On 4 July, Argentine winger Emiliano Armenteros agreed to terminate the contract he signed two years prior and which was set to expire on 30 June 2015. He subsequently signed a two-year deal for Mexican Tuxtla Gutiérrez side Chiapas for a €7.5 million transfer fee. CA Osasuna
Club Atlético Osasuna (, ''Osasuna Athletic Club''), or simply Osasuna, is a Spanish professional football club in Pamplona, Navarre. Founded on 24 October 1920, the club currently plays in La Liga, holding home games at the 23,576-capacity El Sadar Stadium. The team's regular home kit is a red shirt with navy blue shorts. Osasuna is one of four professional Spanish clubs to be owned by its members with an elected president. Osasuna is the sole Navarrese club to have played in La Liga. Although the club has never won a national trophy it reached the Copa del Rey final in 2005. The club’s best league finishes were fourth in 1990–91 and 2005–06. "Los Rojillos" is the club nickname, meaning "The Little Reds". Roberto Santamaría Ciprián (born 27 February 1985) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for CD Tudelano. Club career Born in Pamplona, Navarre, Santamaría was a product of CA Osasuna's youth ranks, and was transferred to UD Las Palmas in summer 2006. In the Canary Islands, he spent his first two seasons with the reserves, making his debut with the first team on 23 February 2008 in a Segunda División match against RC Celta de Vigo in which he saved a penalty kick, helping to a 1–0 home win. In the 2009 off-season, Santamaría was loaned to Málaga CF. During the campaign, he played as backup to also newly signed Gustavo Munúa, appearing in all of the side's four matches in the Copa del Rey. Javad Nekounam ( fa, جواد نکونام; born 7 September 1980) is an Iranian retired professional association football, footballer who played as a central midfielder and is the current manager (association football), manager of Foolad F.C., Foolad FC.
