2014 UTEP Miners Football Team
The 2014 UTEP Miners football team represented the University of Texas at El Paso in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This was the second year for head coach Sean Kugler both with UTEP and overall. They were a member of the West Division of Conference USA. The Miners played their home games in El Paso, Texas at the Sun Bowl Stadium. They finished the season 7–6, 5–3 in C-USA play to finish in a tie for second place in the West Division. Sean Kugler
Sean Patrick Kugler (born August 9, 1966) is an American football coach and former run game coordinator and offensive line coach for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the head coach at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) from 2013 to 2017. Kugler was an assistant coach in the NFL for the Detroit Lions (2001–2005), Buffalo Bills (2007–2009), Pittsburgh Steelers (2010–2012), and Denver Broncos (2018). Early years Kugler was born and raised in Lockport, New York where his father, Robert, was the assistant fire chief. He has two brothers and two sisters. Playing career Kugler attended the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) from 1984 to 1988, earning letterman honors in football for all four years. The 1988 team played in the Independence Bowl. 2014 New Mexico State Aggies Football Team
The 2014 New Mexico State Aggies football team was an American football team that represented New Mexico State University in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Aggies were members of the Sun Belt Conference and played their home games at Aggie Memorial Stadium in Las Cruces, New Mexico. New Mexico State was led by head coach Doug Martin who was in his second year. This was New Mexico State's first time since their 2004 season as members of the Sun Belt Conference (SBC). This was the first year they started the season 2–0 since the 1999 school year when they started 3–0. Alamodome
The Alamodome is a 64,000-seat domed indoor multi-purpose stadium in San Antonio, Texas. It is located on the southeastern fringe of downtown San Antonio. The facility opened on May 15, 1993, having been constructed at a cost of $186 million. The multi-purpose facility was intended to increase the city's convention traffic and attract a professional football franchise. It also placated the San Antonio Spurs' demands for a larger arena. The Spurs played in the Alamodome for a decade, then became disenchanted with the facility and convinced Bexar County to construct a new arena for them, now called the AT&T Center. The Alamodome's regular tenants are currently the UTSA Roadrunners. The 2014 Old Dominion Monarchs football team represented Old Dominion University in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by sixth-year head coach Bobby Wilder and played their home games at Foreman Field at S. B. Ballard Stadium in Norfolk, Virginia. Ruston, Louisiana
Ruston is a small city and the parish seat of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is the largest city in the Eastern Ark-La-Tex region. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 21,859, reflecting an increase of 6.4 percent from the count of 20,546 counted in the 2000 Census. Bill Snyder Family Stadium is a stadium in Manhattan, Kansas. It is used for American football, and is the home field of the Kansas State University Wildcats football team.
