UEC European Champion Jersey
The UEC European Champion jersey is the distinctive, identifiable jersey that the winner of a bicycle race receives at European Cycling Championships organized by the European Cycling Union (UEC), such as the European Road Championships and the European Track Championships. The jersey is predominantly blue with gold European stars. The jerseys are awarded in all cycling disciplines, including road cycling, track cycling, cyclo-cross, BMX, mountain biking and indoor cycling. The jerseys are provided by Santini SMS. Ryan William Mullen (born 7 August 1994) is an Irish professional bicycle racing, racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Born in Birkenhead, England, Mullen attended Ysgol Eirias in Colwyn Bay, Wales. While he was attending Ysgol Eirias, Mullen was a member of Rhos on Sea Cycling Club, the same club as general manager and former head of British Cycling Dave Brailsford. In February 2014, Mullen finished 4th in the Elite Men's Individual Pursuit at the UCI track world championships in Cali, Colombia. At the 2014 Irish National championships in Multyfarnham, Westmeath, Mullen became the youngest ever Irish Elite Road Race champion. Dominique Cornu (born 10 October 1985) is a Belgian retired road and track cyclist from Flanders, who competed professionally between 2005 and 2015. He specialised in the time trial discipline. Career Cornu was born in Beveren. At the 2006 World Cycling Championship he was crowned Under-23 Time Trial World Champion. He had previously won the Junior Belgian Time Trial Championship in 2003 and 2004, and in 2005 he became the Belgian Under-23 time trial Champion. Cornu is also an accomplished track cyclist, winning the Individual Pursuit at the 2006 Belgian Track Cycling Championships. In addition to Cornu's time trialing skills he is also a promising cobblestone rider, having won the Under-23 edition of the prestigious Omloop "Het Volk" cycling classic in 2006.
