Peggy O'Neal (lawyer)
Peggy Yvonne O'Neal (born 19 April 1952) is an American-born Australian lawyer who, since October 2013, has served as the president of the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). She is the first woman in AFL history to serve as a club president. ''The Australian Financial Review'' has named her in its list of "Top 100 Women of Influence". In 2019 she was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to Australian rules football, to superannuation and finance law, and to the advancement of women in leadership roles. Tom Derickx
Thomas Derickx (born 7 December 1987) is a model, musician and a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club and Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Derickx is originally from Dunsborough in Western Australia's south-west. Derickx grew up playing Australian Rules Football but it wasn't his passion. He spent a lot of time surfing and began playing guitar during high school. Before joining the AFL, Derickx pursued a career as a carpenter. His father sells animal health products to farmers. Career Derickx was drafted to Richmond with the 63rd selection in 2010 AFL Draft from the Claremont Football Club in the WAFL. At the completion of the 2013 season, Derickx was delisted by Richmond. The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). It includes teams from clubs based in the eastern states of Australia: Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and includes reserves teams for the east coast AFL clubs. Sam Lloyd (footballer)
Sam Lloyd (born 3 March 1990) is a former Australian rules footballer. He played for the Western Bulldogs and the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Lloyd played as a midfielder and small forward and was renowned for his goal-sense and ability to win forward line one-on-one contests. He was recruited from state-league football as a mature-age player in 2013. While senior listed at Richmond in 2017, he won the Norm Goss Memorial Medal as best on ground during the club's reserves grand final in the VFL. North Adelaide Football Club, nicknamed The Roosters, is an Australian rules football club affiliated with the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and SANFL Women's League (SANFLW). The NAB League Boys (also referred to as simply the NAB League and formerly known as the TAC Cup) is an under-19 Australian rules football representative competition held in Australia. It is based on geographic regions throughout country Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne with each team representing twelve Victorian regions, while a thirteenth team from Tasmania was reintroduced in 2019. The competition is sponsored by National Australia Bank (NAB), having previously been sponsored by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) since its inception. Northern Knights Football Club
The Northern Knights is an Australian rules football club playing in the Talent League, the top statewide under-18 competition in Victoria, Australia. They are based in Preston, representing the northern suburban area of Melbourne. The Knights are one of the six original clubs set up as part of a plan by the Victorian State Football League to replace the traditional club zones with independent junior clubs. This was to help aid in player development and the process of the AFL draft, which allows U18 players the opportunity to be selected by AFL clubs.
