The 2014 McDonald's Burnie International was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the twelfth edition of the tournament for the men and the sixth edition for the women. It was part of the 2014 ATP Challenger Tour and the 2014 ITF Women's Circuit, offering a total of $50,000 in prize money in each the men's and women's events. ATP Challenger Tour
The ATP Challenger Tour, known until the end of 2008 as the ATP Challenger Series, is a series of international men's professional tennis tournaments. The Challenger Tour events are the second-highest tier of tennis competition, behind the ATP Tour. The ITF World Tennis Tour tournaments are on the entry-level of international professional tennis competition. The ATP Challenger Tour is administered by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Players who succeed on the ATP Challenger Tour earn sufficient ranking points to become eligible for main draw or qualifying draw entry at ATP Tour tournaments. Bradley Mousley (born 3 January 1996) is an Australian tennis player. Mousley won the Australian Open boys' doubles title in both 2013 and 2014. In August 2014, Mousley received a one-year ban, backdated to 30 May 2014, after testing positive for ecstasy in March.
