2014 LEB Oro Playoffs
The 2014 LEB Oro playoffs was the final stage of the 2013–14 LEB Oro season. They started on 11 April 2013, and finished on May 18. The quarterfinals were played in a best-of-3 games format, while the semifinals and the finals in a best-of-5 games format. The best seeded team plays at home the games 1, 2 and 5 if necessary. CB Tizona, Ford Burgos was the winner and promoted to 2014–15 ACB season with BC Andorra, River Andorra MoraBanc, the champion of the regular season. 2013–14 LEB Oro Season
The 2013–14 LEB Oro season was the 18th season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto, a Spanish basketball league. It was named Adecco Oro as its sponsored identity. The champion of the regular season, River Andorra MoraBanc was promoted to Liga ACB. The teams between second and ninth position joined the promotion play off, where the winner, Ford Burgos was promoted too to the higher division. Competition format Regular season The regular season was played by round-robin system. After the first leg of the season, the two top qualified teams played the Copa Príncipe de Asturias and the leader will be the host team. At the final of the season: *The regular season winner promoted directly to Liga ACB. *Teams qualified between 2nd and 9th, joined the promotion play-offs to ACB. *Teams qualified in positions 12th and 13th would play the relegation playoffs. *Team qualified in last position is relegated directly to LEB Plata. Mareks Mejeris (born 2 September 1991) is a Latvian professional basketball player for Hapoel Jerusalem of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, who plays the small forward and power forward position. Professional career He started his pro career in 2009 with his hometown team BK Liepājas Lauvas and after couple of seasons there he moved to Spain. Kevin van Wijk (born 17 April 1989) is a Dutch professional basketball player for CB Marín Peixegalego of the LEB Oro. Van Wijk played three years of college basketball for the Valparaiso Crusaders.
