2014 Giro Del Trentino
The 2014 Giro del Trentino is the 38th edition of the Giro del Trentino Road bicycle racing, cycling race stage, stage race. It started on 22 April in Riva del Garda and will end on 25 April on the top of Monte Bondone. The race will consist of four stages; it started with a team time trial on the same route of the first stage in the 2012 Giro del Trentino, 2012 edition of the race, and will end on Monte Bondone for the queen stage. The race was part of the 2014 UCI Europe Tour, and was UCI race classifications, rated as a 2.HC event. Australian rider Cadel Evans of won the General Classification, claiming the leader's jersey in second stage (won by the Italian Edoardo Zardini (cyclist), Edoardo Zardini), and securing his lead by winning the third. 2014 UCI Europe Tour
The 2014 UCI Europe Tour was the tenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 season began on 2 February 2014 with the Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise and ended on 19 October 2014 with the Chrono des Nations. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI Europe Tour cycling jersey. Riccardo Zoidl of Austria was the defending champion of the 2013 UCI Europe Tour. The 2014 Europe Tour was won by Tom Van Asbroeck. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. Edoardo Zardini (born 2 November 1989) is an Italian former racing cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2013 to 2022. Limone sul Garda ( Gardesano: ) is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy (northern Italy), at the western bank of Lake Garda. Team Time Trial
A team time trial (TTT) is a road bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock (see individual time trial for a more detailed description of ITT events). The winning team in a TTT is determined by the comparing the times of (usually) the fourth-finishing rider in each team (though the relevant finish position can be otherwise specified in advance by the race organisers). This means that each team will try to get their first four (at least) riders across the finish line in a tight group: it is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the fourth rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the fourth rider to get a quicker time.
