The 2014 FIFA World Cup was the 20th FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for list of men's national association football teams, men's national Association football, football teams organised by FIFA. Valon Behrami
Valon Behrami (born 19 April 1985) is a Swiss former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Despite starting his professional football career in Switzerland with FC Lugano, Behrami played mostly in Italy, though also played for two football clubs in England and one in Germany. Haris Seferovic
Haris Seferovic (, ; born 22 February 1992) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a striker for UAE Pro League club Al-Nasr. Seferovic made his professional debut at Grasshopper in April 2009. Shortly afterwards, in January 2010, he was signed by Italian club Fiorentina. Admir Mehmedi (born 16 March 1991) is a Swiss former professional footballer who played as a second striker or centre forward. Ricardo Iván Rodríguez Araya (born 25 August 1992) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a left-back for La Liga club Betis and Switzerland national team. Walter Orlando Ayoví Corozo (; born 11 August 1979) is a former Ecuadorian professional footballer who last played for the Monterrey Flash in the Major Arena Soccer League. 2014 FIFA World Cup Knockout Stage
The knockout stage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup was the second and final stage of the competition, following the group stage. It began on 28 June with the round of 16 and ended on 13 July with the final match of the tournament, held at Estádio do Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro. The top two teams from each group (16 in total) advanced to the knockout stage to compete in a single-elimination tournament. A third-place match was played between the two losing teams of the semi-finals. In all matches in the knockout stage, if the score was level at the end of 90 minutes, two 15-minute periods of extra time were played.
