2013–14 Utah Valley Wolverines Men's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Utah Valley Wolverines men's basketball team represented Utah Valley University in the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Dick Hunsaker entered his twelfth season as the UVU head coach. The Wolverines played their home games at the UCCU Center as new members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 20–12, 13–3 in WAC play to win the WAC regular season championship. They advanced to the semifinals of the WAC tournament where they lost to Idaho. As a regular season conference champion who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to California. Dick Hunsaker
Dick Hunsaker (born April 11, 1954) is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at Utah Valley University. He is also a former head and assistant coach at Ball State University. As one of Rick Majerus's assistant coaches, he worked with the Cardinals for two seasons, including their berth in the 1989 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Hunsaker is best known for leading Ball State to the 1990 tournament. His team was led by University of Arkansas at Little Rock transfers Paris McCurdy and Curtis Kidd, Muncie natives Chandler Thompson and Billy Butts, and Detroit native Scott Nichols. The team, as a number 12 seed, defeated Oregon State University, which was led by Gary Payton in the first round and University of Louisville in the second round, before falling to eventual champions UNLV. Eagle High School
Eagle High School (EHS) is a four-year public secondary school in Eagle, Idaho, USA, a suburb northwest of Boise. EHS opened in August 1995, the third of five traditional high schools in the West Ada School District. The school colors are hunter green and silver and its mascot is a mustang. Bountiful High School
Bountiful High School is a public high school in Bountiful, Utah, United States, for grades 10 to 12. The school is one of eleven high schools in the Davis School District. History Bountiful High opened in 1951. It underwent reconstruction in 2013, and a new cafeteria and commons were built in place of an outdoor courtyard as well as the addition of air conditioning. Other remodels include new hallways, entrance, foyer, and bathrooms. A renovation of the parking lot was finished in 2015. Bountiful, Utah
Bountiful is Davis city. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 42,552, a three percent increase over the 2000 figure of 41,301. The city grew rapidly during the suburb growth of the late 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s and was Davis County's largest city until 1985, when it was surpassed by Layton. Alta High School (Utah)
Alta High School is a secondary school in Sandy, Utah, United States which services students from the cities of Sandy and Draper. Founded in 1978, it is part of the Canyons School District. History The school opened in 1978. The modern, two-level brick building is situated on a site with an unobstructed view of both Oquirrh Mountain and Wasatch ranges. School is in session for 180 days per year on a traditional 9-month calendar. Students attend four 84-minute classes each day on an alternating block schedule, beginning at 7:45 am and ending at 2:25 pm. The school operates a quarterly schedule. Draper is a city in Salt Lake and Utah counties in the U.S. state of Utah, about south of Salt Lake City along the Wasatch Front. As of the 2020 census, the population is 51,017, up from 7,143 in 1990. Waycross College
Waycross College was a two-year unit of the University System of Georgia. The College's philosophy was to provide opportunities for those who need special preparation for regular college-level courses while giving well-prepared students immediate access to transfer courses that can be applied toward advanced study appropriate to their academic goals. The Board of Regents of the University System approved the establishment of a two-year college in the Ware County-Waycross area in December 1970.
