The 2013–14 Torquay United F.C. season is Torquay United F.C., Torquay United's 78th season in the Football League and their fifth consecutive season in Football League Two, League Two. Torquay United F
Torquay ( ) is a seaside town in Devon, England, part of the unitary authority, unitary authority area of Torbay. It lies south of the county town of Exeter and east-north-east of Plymouth, on the north of Tor Bay, adjoining the neighbouring town of Paignton on the west of the bay and across from the fishing port of Brixham. The town's economy, like Brixham's, was initially based upon fishing and agriculture, but in the early 19th century it began to develop into a fashionable seaside resort. Dale Tonge (born 7 May 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a full back or a midfielder. He is currently a first team coach at EFL Championship club Peterborough United Career He came through the youth ranks with Barnsley and made his debut on 17 April 2004 against Brentford. On 20 March 2007, it was announced that he had joined Gillingham on loan. He made his Gillingham debut in the 5–0 away defeat to Carlisle United on 24 March, and returned to Barnsley one month later. Shaun Cooper
Shaun David Cooper (born 5 October 1983) is an English retired professional footballer. He is currently an assistant manager at club AFC Bournemouth. Career Cooper was a product of Portsmouth's youth system. He made his debut for the club in a 0–0 draw at Crystal Palace in March 2002 and featured in six more games in the remainder of the campaign. However, he failed to break into the first team the next season, as Portsmouth won the Division One title. Despite this he was offered a new two-year contract. He spent most of the 2003–04 season on loan at Leyton Orient, playing nine games. The next season (2004–05) he was again loaned out, this time to Kidderminster Harriers. Niall Joseph Israel Thompson (born 3 September 1993) is an English professional footballer who is currently at Tiverton Town FC after leaving Truro City in July 2022 and previously played at Torquay United until January 2015. He plays as a winger, but his versatility has seen him more recently act as a wing-back. Martin John Rice (born 7 March 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Exmouth Town. He spent most of his early professional career at Exeter City and has since played for their rivals Torquay United and non-League side Truro City. Karl Leon Hawley (born 6 December 1981) is an English professional footballer who plays for Sutton Coldfield. He has represented the England C team. Benjamin Scott Harding (born 6 September 1984) is an English professional footballer who plays for as a midfielder Truro City. Damon Len Lathrope (born 28 October 1989) is an English former professional footballer and head coach of Watford Women. He played as a midfielder, and after coming through Norwich City's academy, signed for Torquay United, Aldershot Town and Woking.
