Norman Black
Norman Augustus Black (born November 12, 1957) is an American former professional basketball player who played in the CBA, NBA, and PBA. He's the current head coach for the Meralco Bolts. He has since settled in the Philippines. He is also a former head coach of the San Miguel Beermen, Mobiline Phone Pals, Pop Cola 800s, Sta. Lucia Realtors and Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters. He has also coached the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP. During his playing career, his moniker was Mr. 100%. Career High school, college, NBA and CBA career Black played high school basketball for the Cardinal Gibbons School in Baltimore where he graduated in 1975 He then played for Saint Joseph's University, Saint Joseph's College in Pennsylvania from 1975 to 1979, averaging 17 points per game in his playing career. Rodney Dion Carney (born April 15, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of Memphis and was selected in the 2006 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls and shortly afterwards traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. The Meralco Bolts is a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The team began in 2010 after the Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) acquired the PBA franchise of the Sta. Othyus Jeffers (born August 5, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player who had served as associate head coach for the Robert Morris University Illinois. Jeffers played college basketball with the University of Illinois at Chicago for two years, before transferring to Robert Morris University for his senior season. He then started his professional career with the Iowa Energy of the NBA D-League, a minor league basketball organization owned and run by the NBA. The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots for the second-most titles overall. They are one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines. Richard Howell (born September 26, 1990) is an American-Israeli professional basketball player who last played for Hapoel Haifa of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for the NC State Wolfpack. High school career Howell attended Joseph Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia.
