Sydney FC
Sydney Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales. It competes in the country's premier men's competition, A-League Men, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities. Rhyan Bert Grant (born 26 February 1991) is an Australian professional football player who plays for A-League club Sydney FC and the Australia national team. Born in Canowindra, New South Wales, Grant played youth football at the Australian Institute of Sport before making his professional debut for Sydney FC in 2008. Club career In June 2008, Grant received an invitation to take up a scholarship at the AIS in Canberra where he was selected despite not fitting into the age criteria for the 2008 scholarship program. Ali Abbas ( ar, علي عباس مشيهد الحلفي , born 30 August 1986) is an Iraqi-Australian footballer who last played for the Newcastle Jets in the A-League and the Iraq national team. Miloš Dimitrijević
Miloš Dimitrijević ( sr-Cyrl, Милош Димитријевић; born 16 February 1984 in Belgrade) is a Serbian footballer who last played as a central midfielder for Sydney FC of the Australian A-League. In addition to possessing Serbian citizenship, he also holds French citizenship. Vedran Janjetović (; born 20 August 1987) is a Croatian-born Australian football player. Club career Janjetović started his career in the youth ranks at NSWPL club Sydney United before being spotted by Sydney FC and was signed to their Youth League squad alongside fellow young stars Matthew Jurman, Kofi Danning, Rhyan Grant and Anthony Golec. Nicholas Alberto Carle (born 23 November 1981 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian retired football (soccer) attacking midfielder who played for Sydney Olympic, Troyes AC, Marconi Stallions, Newcastle Jets, Gençlerbirliği, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Baniyas and Sydney FC. Terence Martin "Terry" McFlynn (born 27 March 1981) is a retired footballer from Northern Ireland who is most well known for playing for the A-League club Sydney FC. He is currently serving as the W-League and Academy manager for Perth Glory FC. Early life McFlynn grew up in Swatragh, in Northern Ireland to a Catholic family. He played Gaelic Football for the first sixteen years of his life, one of Ireland's traditional sports, before he switched to football on advice from his uncle.
