2013–14 Oregon State Beavers Women's Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Oregon State Beavers women's basketball team represented Oregon State University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Beavers, led by fourth year head coach Scott Rueck, played their games at the Gill Coliseum and were members of the Pac-12 Conference. They finished with a record of 24–11 overall, 13–5 in Pac-12 play for a tie for a second-place finish. They lost in the championship game in the 2014 Pac-12 Conference women's basketball tournament to USC. They were invited to the 2014 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament which they defeated Middle Tennessee State in the first round before losing to South Carolina in the second round. Scott Rueck
Scott Michael Rueck (born July 18, 1969) is the head coach of the Oregon State University women's basketball team. Early life Rueck grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he graduated from Glencoe High School. His father had been the first boys' basketball coach at Glencoe and had also been a coach at Hillsboro High School. After high school, he attended Oregon State University in Corvallis where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science in 1991. While at OSU he started his coaching career at Santiam Christian High School in nearby Adair Village where he was an assistant with the boys' basketball team from 1989 until 1993. In 1992, he earned a master's degree from Oregon State in physical education. Coaching career In 1993, Rueck took an assistant coach position at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, with the women's basketball team. Freeport, Bahamas
Freeport is a city, district and free trade zone on the island of Grand Bahama of the northwest Bahamas. In 1955, Wallace Groves, a Virginian financier with lumber interests in Grand Bahama, was granted of pineyard with substantial areas of swamp and scrubland by the Bahamian government with a mandate to economically develop the area. The 2013–14 Penn State Lady Lions basketball team will represent Pennsylvania State University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Lady Lions, led by 7th year head coach Coquese Washington, play their home games at the Bryce Jordan Center and were members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 24–8 overall, 13–3 in Big Ten play to share the Big Ten Regular Season title with Michigan State. They lost in the quarterfinals to Ohio State in the 2014 Big Ten Conference men's basketball tournament. The 2013–14 Loyola Marymount Lions women's basketball team represented Loyola Marymount University in the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's basketball season, 2013–14 college basketball season. The Lions, members of the West Coast Conference, were led by head coach Charity Elliott, in her 2nd season at the school. The Lions played their home games at the Gersten Pavilion on the university campus in Los Angeles, California. The 2013–14 Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners women's basketball team represented California State University, Bakersfield during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Roadrunners were led by third year head coach Greg McCall and played their home games at the Icardo Center. The Roadrunners competed as members of the Western Athletic Conference. Corban University
Corban University is a private Christian university in Salem, Oregon. There are about 1,200 full-time students enrolled on the Salem campus and 2,800 worldwide. Athletically, it is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics competing in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. History The institution was established in 1935 in Phoenix, Arizona as the Phoenix Bible Institute by Evangelist Leland Entrekin and Roy Bancroft. The college moved in 1946 to Oakland, California and took the name Western Baptist Bible College, affiliated with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC). Saint Martin's University
Saint Martin's University is a private Benedictine university in Lacey, Washington. It was founded in 1895 as an all-boys boarding school by monks of the Benedictine Order. Saint Martin's began offering college-level courses in 1900 and became a degree-granting institution in 1940. The college became coeducational in 1965.
