Kategoria E Parë
Kategoria e Parë is the second level of professional football in Albania, behind the Kategoria Superiore and above the Kategoria e Dytë. Format Kategoria e Parë was founded in 1930. It is made up of 14 teams. The 2 best ranked teams gain promotion to the Kategoria Superiore, while the teams ranked from the 3rd to the 6th position qualify to a play-off tournament where the winner then plays a promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of Kategoria Superiore. The 2014–15 Kategoria Superiore was the 76th official season, or 79th season of top-tier football in Albania (including three unofficial championships during World War II) and the sixteenth season under the name ''Kategoria superiore''. KF Ada Velipojë
KF Ada is an Albanian football club based in the city of Velipojë which is situated in Shkodër County. The club's home ground is the Reshit Rusi Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. History The club was founded on 6 March 1996 as a sports society by Lazër Matia, Alfred Pjetri, Filip Kercunga, Marash Qytetza and Prend Përndreca. The name Ada derives from the Adriatic island of Ada Bojana in nearby Montenegro. A previous club had existed in the city under the name KS Velipoja, which was run by the Municipality before funding was stopped and the team dissolved. KF Ada first competed in the Albanian Third Division, but they soon achieved promotion to the Albanian Second Division. Klubi i Futbollit Burreli is an Albanian football club based in Burrel, Mat District. Their home ground is the Liri Ballabani Stadium and they compete in the Kategoria e Parë. History The club was founded in 1928, but was not an organised club until 1935 under the name ''Deja Burrel''. The name was changed in 1945 to ''31 Korriku Burreli'', which was again changed in 1951 to ''Puna Burrel''. Between 1958 and 1991 the club was renamed ''31 Korriku Burrel'' before changing to its current name ''Burreli''. Shkumbini Peqin
KF Shkumbini is an Albanian football club based in the city of Peqin. The club's home ground is the Shkumbini Stadium and they compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. History Football was first introduced to the city of Peqin in the early 1920s after an army officer from Shkodër brought along a ball with him. An amateur club was formed in 1924 by Adem Bedali and other local men who had begun playing football. In the club's infancy they played friendly games with teams from other cities in Albania, before the creation of the Albanian Football Association in 1930 who organised the first official football competitions in the country.
