2013–14 Indiana Pacers Season
The 2013–14 Indiana Pacers season was 47th season of the franchise and 38th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Pacers marked their best start in franchise history, 16–1. The Pacers finished the regular season with a win-loss record of 56-26, their best since 2004. It consisted of a home record of 36-5, their best since 2000, and a road record of 21-20. At the end of the season, they were in first place of the division for the second consecutive season and the Eastern Conference for the first time since 2004. Frank Vogel
Frank Paul Vogel (born June 21, 1973) is an American professional basketball coach. He previously served as the head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Vogel also previously served as an assistant coach of the Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics. He coached the Lakers to an NBA championship in 2020. Early years Vogel grew up in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey. During his eighth grade year, he was featured in an episode of '' Late Night with David Letterman'' during the Stupid Human Tricks segment, in which he spun a basketball on a toothbrush while brushing his teeth. Danny Granger
Danny Granger Jr. (born April 20, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player who played ten seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 2005 after a two-year college stint at New Mexico Lobos men's basketball, New Mexico. In 2009, Granger averaged 26 points per game on 45 percent shooting and was named an List of NBA All-Stars, All-Star and the league's NBA Most Improved Player Award, Most Improved Player. The 2014 NBA All-Star Game was an exhibition basketball game that was played on February 16, 2014, during the National Basketball Association's (NBA) 2013–14 season. It was the 63rd edition of the NBA All-Star Game, and was played at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, home of the New Orleans Pelicans. The Eastern Conference defeated the Western Conference, 163–155. Kyrie Irving was named the All-Star Game Most Valuable Player. The game was televised nationally on TNT in the United States, and TSN in Canada. Andrew Bynum
Andrew Bynum (born October 27, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player. He played the majority of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After they selected him in the first round of the 2005 NBA draft with the 10th overall pick, the center won two NBA championships with the team in 2009 and 2010. He was named an All-Star and selected to the All-NBA team in 2012. Bynum was an All-American player in high school before he decided to forgo college and enter the NBA. Roy Hibbert
Roy Denzil Hibbert (born December 11, 1986) is a Jamaican-American former professional basketball player. He is a two-time NBA All-Star, and earned NBA All-Defensive Second Team honors in 2014. Hibbert was the runner-up for the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award in the 2013-14 NBA season, placing second behind Joakim Noah. Hibbert played college basketball for the Georgetown Hoyas and was named a consensus second-team All-American as a senior in 2008.
