2013–14 Galatasaray S.K. Season
The 2013–14 season was Galatasarays 110th in existence and 56th consecutive season in the Süper Lig. The club was aiming for an unprecedented twentieth league title, after winning the Süper Lig in the previous season. In Europe, Galatasaray competed in the UEFA Champions League for a thirteenth season. They also competed in the Turkish Cup, entering in the fourth round, as well as the Turkish Super Cup. This article shows statistics of the club's players in the season, and also lists all matches that the club played during the season. The season covered a period from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014. Galatasaray Spor Kulübü (, ''Galatasaray Sports Club'') is a Turkish sports club based on the European side of the city of Istanbul in Turkey. Florya Metin Oktay Facilities ( tr, Florya Metin Oktay Tesisleri), is the training ground and academy base of the Turkish football club Galatasaray SK. The Florya training camp land was brought during the presidency of Suphi Batur, built and opened during Professor Ali Uras presidency and was expanded and improved during both Ali Tanriyar and Alp Yalman presidencies. Cláudio André Mergen Taffarel (; born 8 May 1966) is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper, and is the goalkeeping coach of English Premier League club Liverpool and the Brazil national team. Attilio Lombardo (; born 6 January 1966) is an Italian retired football player turned manager; he is currently the assistant manager for the Italy national team. Tugay Kerimoğlu (born 24 August 1970) is a Turkish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He spent the majority of his career for Galatasaray and Blackburn Rovers; winning silverware at Rangers F.C. in-between.
