2013–14 Football Superleague Of Kosovo
2013–14 Raiffeisen Superliga is the fifteenth season of top-tier football in Kosovo. The season begun on 23 August 2013. FC Prishtina are the defending champions. A total of 12 teams competed in the league: 10 sides from the 2012–13 season and two promoted from the Liga e Parë campaign. Fushë Kosova, and Ferizaj were each demoted from the top flight. Teams There are 12 competing in the 2013–14 Football Superleague of Kosovo. Last season, Liria and Vëllaznimi were relegated to the Liga e Parë. Ferizaj and Fushë Kosova were promoted. League table Results Matches 1–22 Matches 23–33 Relegation play-offs The relegation play-offs took place on 3–4 June 2015. The Football Superleague of Kosovo ( sq, Superliga e Futbollit të Kosovës), also known as the ALBI MALL Superleague of Kosovo ( sq, ALBI MALL Superliga e Kosovës) for sponsorship reasons with Albi Mall, is the top level of the Kosovar football league system. The Superleague is organized by the Football Federation of Kosovo and the division currently has a 10-team format. The clubs play each other four times during the season for a 36-match schedule. At the end of the season, the bottom two teams in the division are relegated to the second tier, First Football League of Kosovo. The Superleague ran outside FIFA and UEFA until Kosovo was admitted to both organizations, on 3 May 2016. Fushë Kosova ( sq-definite, Fushë Kosovë), or Kosovo Polje ( sr-Cyrl, Косово Поље, "Kosovo Field"), is a town and municipality located in the District of Pristina in central Kosovo. Rexhep Rexhepi Stadium
Rexhep Rexhepi ( sq, Stadiumi Rexhep Rexhepi) is a multi-purpose stadium in Glogovac, Kosovo. The ground serves as the home ground of KF Feronikeli. History The stadium is named after the club's former player and captain Rexhep Rexhepi, who fought for the Kosovo Liberation Army and was killed on 12 February 1999 by Serb forces. Renovation In December 2012 work began on the ground in order to renovate the single stand, the playing field as well as the clubhouse, with funding coming from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Drenas, also known as Gllogoc or Glogovac, is a town and municipality in central Kosovo. As of the 2011 census, there were 6,143 people residing in Drenas and 58,531 in the municipality. Ferizaj, . or Uroševac, . Also formerly known as Ferizovići ( tr, Firzovik). is the sixth largest city in Kosovo by population and seat of Ferizaj Municipality and Ferizaj District. Gjilan, or Gnjilane ( sr-cyr, Гњилане) is the eighth largest city in Kosovo and seat of Gjilan Municipality and Gjilan District. The Bajram Aliu is a multi-use stadium in Skenderaj, Kosovo. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Drenica of the Kosovar Superliga. The Shahin Haxhiislami Stadium is a multi-use stadium located in Peć, Kosovo. It primarily hosts football matches and serves as the home ground for KF Besa Pejë, a team in the Kosovar Superliga.
