It is best known for the professional football team playing in the Primeira Liga, the top flight of Portuguese football. Founded on 28 September 1893, Porto is one of the " Big Three" (Portuguese: ''Os Três Grandes'') teams in Portugal – together with Lisbon-based rivals Benfica and Sporting CP, that have appeared in every season of the Primeira Liga since its establishment in 1934. They are nicknamed ''Dragões'' (Dragons), for the mythical creature atop the club's crest, and ''Azuis e brancos'' (Blue-and-whites), for the shirt colours. Steven Arnold Defour (born 15 April 1988) is a Belgian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder, currently manager of Mechelen. In his senior career he played for Genk, Standard Liège, Porto, Anderlecht, Burnley, Antwerp and Mechelen, winning a total of nine honours with the second and third clubs. Marat Nailevich Izmailov (russian: Марат Наилевич Измайлов, tt-Cyrl, Марат Наил улы Измайлов; born 21 September 1982) is a Russian former professional footballer. Mainly a right midfielder, he could also appear as an attacking midfielder, being best known for his dribbling skills and pace while also possessing a good long-distance shot and accurate passing. The CTFD PortoGaia (Centro de Treinos e Formação Desportiva PortoGaia; English: PortoGaia Sports Training Center) is a football training complex located in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, that is used by the senior, reserve and youth teams of FC Porto. Eliaquim Hans Mangala (born 13 February 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. Born in France, he moved to Belgium as a child and began his career there at Standard Liège, going onto Porto in 2011 where he won consecutive Primeira Liga titles before joining Manchester City in 2014 for £32 million. Christian Atsu Twasam (10 January 1992 – ) was a Ghanaian professional footballer who primarily played as a winger, although he was also deployed as an attacking midfielder or left back.
