2013 Women's Futsal World Tournament
The 2013 Women's Futsal World Tournament was the fourth edition of the Women's Futsal World Tournament, the premier world championship for women's national futsal teams. The competition was to be hosted in San Cristóbal, Táchira, Venezuela, but due to logistic problems, the competition was moved to Ciudad Real and Alcázar de San Juan, in Spain. 2012 Women's Futsal World Tournament
The 2012 Women's Futsal World Tournament was the third edition of the Women's Futsal World Tournament, the premier world championship for women's national futsal teams. It was held in Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal, from 3 to 9 December 2012, and matches were played at the Pavilhão Dr. Salvador Machado and Pavilhão Municipal de Oliveira de Azeméis. Brazil won its third consecutive world title after defeating the Portuguese hosts in the final by a 3–0 score. As in the two previous editions, Brazil, Portugal, Russia and Spain reached the semifinals.Spain beats Malaysia 11-0 and will face Portugal in the semifinals.

Women's Futsal World Tournament
The Women's Futsal World Tournament is an international women's futsal competition for national teams, organized by national associations and the World Futsal Association. The first edition took place in 2010 in Spain and was won by Brazil. The tournament has known no other winner besides Brazil, after the country's victories in the first six editions. The tournament is endorsed by national associations such as the Japan Football Association, Iranian Football Federation and FEDEFUT. FIFA runs the men's FIFA Futsal World Cup but not the Women's Futsal World Tournament. The FIFA Women's Futsal World Cup was announced in 2022. Futsal
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hardcourt, hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and Indoor soccer, indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. The surface, ball and rules favour ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes control, improvisation, creativity and technique. Naming ''Futsal'' comes from the Portuguese ''futebol de salão'' and from the Spanish ''fútbol sala'' or ''fútbol de salón'' (all translatable as "indoor football").
