Orleans Arena
Orleans Arena is a 9,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Paradise, Nevada, in the Las Vegas Valley. It is located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino and is operated by Coast Casinos, a subsidiary of Boyd Gaming Corporation. The arena is the home to the Vegas Rollers of World TeamTennis since 2019. It is also an occasional home for the UNLV Rebels basketball team when the Thomas & Mack Center is in use. The arena was the home of the Las Vegas Wranglers ice hockey team from 2003 to 2014, the Las Vegas Gladiators arena football team in 2007, as well as the Las Vegas Sin women's football team. The 2012–13 San Francisco Dons women's basketball team represented the University of San Francisco in the 2012–13 college basketball season. This was head coach Jennifer Azzi's third season at San Francisco. The 2012–13 West Coast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2012 and ended with the 2013 West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament at the Orleans Arena March 6–11, 2013 in Las Vegas. The regular season began in November, with the conference schedule starting at the end of December. This was the 62nd season for the conference, and the 24th under its current name as "West Coast Conference". The conference began as the California Basketball Association in 1952, became the West Coast Athletic Conference in 1956, and dropped the word "Athletic" in 1989. West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament is the annual concluding tournament for the NCAA college basketball in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The winner of the tournament each year is guaranteed a place in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament for that season. Through 2008, the tournament was played on a rotating basis at the home courts of member teams. The 2009 edition was the first played at a neutral site, namely Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada, just outside Las Vegas. The semifinals are broadcast nationally on ESPN2 and the championship is broadcast nationally on ESPN. The tournament has used several formats in its history, though seeding in all formats has been based strictly on conference record (with tiebreakers used as needed). Rosalyn Fatima Gold-Onwude (; born April 28, 1987) is an American-Nigerian sports broadcaster. A native of New York City, Gold-Onwude played college basketball at Stanford and played on the Nigeria national team. Gold-Onwude covers NBA basketball on ESPN's TV, digital, and radio platforms and is a fill-in host of First Take with Stephen A. Smith each week. Richard Cellini is a play-by-play announcer and a professor at the University of San Francisco. He began broadcasting in 1998 and has covered a wide range of sports including football, baseball, basketball, softball and water polo. Steven Cornell Cleveland (born February 4, 1952) is a former American college basketball coach. He had been men's head basketball head coach at Fresno City College, BYU, and Fresno State. Early life and education Cleveland was born in Los Angeles County and raised in Fresno, California. He attended Herbert Hoover High School in Fresno, then began his college basketball career at Fresno City College before going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to England from 1971 to 1973. Cleveland returned to Fresno City College in the 1973–74 season, after which he was named the team's Most Outstanding Player and transferred to UC Irvine. At UC Irvine, Cleveland played at forward.
