2013 Valais Women's Cup
The Valais Women's Cup is a two-day international women football tournament that features four women national teams. It is played at the Stade du Lussy in Châtel-St-Denis and at the Stade St-Germain in Savièse, Switzerland. This tournament is the closing tournament of the Valais Football Summer Cups. The first edition of the competition have been won by the New Zealand women's national football team. The New Zealanders surprisingly beat Brazil in semi-finals for the first time of its history. Amber Hearn was the player of tournament. With 3 goals, she was the best scorer of the competition andhave been elected as best player of the tournament. Amber Hearn
Amber Liarnie Rose Hearn (born 28 November 1984) is a New Zealand association footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish club EDF Logroño and the New Zealand women's national team, making her senior international debut in a 2–0 loss to Australia on 18 February 2004. Personal life Hearn is of Māori descent, and affiliates to the Ngāpuhi iwi. Club career At club level she has played in England for Arsenal and Doncaster Rovers Belles. The 2009/10 season she played for the Ottawa Fury Women of the USL W-League. She then returned one year to New Zealand where she played for Lynn-Avon United. After that year she announced her transfer to German Bundesliga side FF USV Jena. In 2003, she was named New Zealand's football player of the year. Fabiana da Silva Simões (born 4 August 1989), known as Fabiana, Fabi Simões or Fabiana Baiana, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a defender for Santos and the Brazil national team. From 2009 to 2010, she played in the United States for the Boston Breakers of Women's Professional Soccer (WPS). As well as teams in her native Brazil, Fabiana has played for Barcelona and Sporting de Huelva of Spain's Primera División and WFC Rossiyanka of the Russian Top Division. Rosemary Eleanor Florence White (born 6 June 1993) is a New Zealand footballer who last played as a midfielder for OL Reign in the National Women's Soccer League and the New Zealand national team. Esther Staubli
Esther Staubli (born 3 October 1979) is a Swiss football referee. German-speaking Staubli is tall and has been on the FIFA International Referees List since 2006. An agronomist by trade, Staubli also lectures in a university. She was selected to referee the 2015 UEFA Women's Champions League Final. She also served as a referee for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. In 2014, she was voted fourth in the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) World's Best Woman Referee, behind winner Bibiana Steinhaus.
