2013 Super League Of Malawi
The 2013 TNM Super League was the 28th season of the Super League of Malawi, the top professional league for association football clubs in Malawi since its establishment in 1986. It started on 27 April 2013 and was scheduled to conclude on 28 December 2013, but officially ended on 18 February 2014. Silver Strikers were the defending champions. The match from the last round between Mighty Wanderers and Silver Strikers was interrupted due to the violence of their supporters. The match was postponed to be replayed for two times, first time on 5 January at Kalulu Stadium and second time on 26 January at the ZACC Ground in Zomba. Finally was replayed on 18 February 2014 behind closed doors at Kamuzu Stadium. Silver Strikers won 2–1 and clinched the third consecutive and eighth overall Super League title. Super League Of Malawi
Super League of Malawi, also known as the TNM Super League for sponsorship reasons, is the top football division in Malawi. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Malawi Regional Football Leagues. Malawian mobile telecommunications company TNM sponsors the league with K65 million annually. History It was created in 1986 and was first sponsored by Gillet Nacet. It was composed of eight teams: five teams from Blantyre and Districts Football League (BDFL) and three teams from Lilongwe and Districts Football League (LDFL). Blantyre United
Blantyre United Football Club was a Malawian football (soccer) club based in Blantyre founded in 2008 and dissolved in 2018. History The club was founded in 2008 as a reserve side for Escom United. In 2010, after won Southern Regional Football League and promoted to TNM Super League, was renamed Blantyre United. In the 2012–13 season, the Blantyre-based side finished 3rd, their best ever performance, but in the next season struggled to avoid relegation finishing 12th and relegated at the end of the 2014 season. After two seasons in the Second Division, Blantyre United returned to Super League of Malawi, winning the Southern Region Football League in 2016 season, but relegated again after ranking 15th at the end of the 2017 season. EPAC United FC
EPAC United Football Club was a Malawian football (soccer) club based in Lilongwe and played its home matches at the 25,000 capacity Civo Stadium. The club played eight seasons in the Super League of Malawi, the top division of Malawian football. History The club was founded in 1995 as Pakeeza FC and played in the Regional Football Leagues of Malawi. In the 2007 season, Pakeeza won the Central Region Football League, the Second Division of Malawi and promoted for the first time to Super League of Malawi. Civil Service United Football Club-Civo (CIVO United), which represents Civil Services, is a Malawian football (soccer) club based in Lilongwe area 9, the team currently plays in the TNM Super League, the top division of Malawi football. Nyasa Big Bullets is a Malawian professional association football club based in Blantyre, currently playing in the TNM Super League, the top division of Malawian football. The club was formerly known as Bata Bullets, Total Big Bullets and Bakili Bullets. Blue Eagles Football Club is a Malawian football (soccer) club based in Lilongwe that currently plays in the TNM Super League, the top division of Malawian football. History Blue Eagles FC was founded in 1988 and is sponsored by the Malawi Police Service as tool to bring interaction between the community they serve and them. Kamuzu Barracks Football Club are a Malawian football (soccer) club based in Lilongwe and currently playing in the TNM Super League, the top division of Malawian football.
