2013 PDC Pro Tour
The 2013 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They were the Professional Dart Players Association Players Championships, the UK Open Qualifiers, and the European Tour events. This year there were 32 PDC Pro Tour events – 16 Players Championships, 8 UK Open Qualifiers, and 8 European Tour events. Prize money Prize money for each UK Open Qualifier was £34,600, unchanged from 2012. Prize money for each Players Championship has been increased from £34,600 to £50,000, and the prize money for European Tour events has been increased to £100,000. PDC Pro Tour Card 128 players were granted Tour Cards, which enabled them to participate in all Players Championships, UK Open Qualifiers and European Tour events. PDC Pro Tour
The PDC Pro Tour is a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They comprise Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships and European Tour events. Only four players have gone on to win at least 30 titles on the PDC Pro Tour. Michael van Gerwen has won the most Pro Tour titles winning 84. Phil Taylor is second on the list winning 70 events, Peter Wright third winning 32 events and Gary Anderson in fourth winning 31 events, as of September 2022. Pro Tour Card Since 2011, the PDC Pro Tour has operated a Tour Card system. 128 players are granted Tour Cards, which enables them to participate in all Players Championships. Ken MacNeil
Ken MacNeil (born December 16, 1975) is a Canadian professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation events. Career MacNeil qualified for the 2010 PDC World Darts Championship by finishing fourth in the North American Order of Merit. In the preliminary round, he defeated Guyana's Norman Madhoo 4–2. In the first round, he lost 3–2 to Alan Tabern. He represented Canada with John Part in the 2012 PDC World Cup of Darts and together they reached the second round by defeating Hungary 5–3. MacNeil then beat 15-time World Champion Phil Taylor in his singles match, but they would eventually succumb 3–2 to the English duo of Taylor and Adrian Lewis, having lost a sudden death leg. Martyn Turner (darts Player)
Martyn Turner (born 1948) is an English-born Irish political cartoonist, caricaturist and writer, working for the Irish Times since 1971. His cartoons appear four times a week in the newspaper, parodying current events. Life Early life and education Turner was born in Wanstead, Essex and grew up in London. He was educated at Bancroft's School. In 1967, he went to Belfast, enrolling at Queen's University Belfast where he read geography. Turner was the first member of his family to go to university. Joey Palfreyman (born 21 February 1974) is an English darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation events. Career Palfreyman made his first impact in a PDC event at the 2013 UK Open by beating Keegan Brown and Steve Beaton to face Raymond van Barneveld in the last 32. He lost 9–3 but earned £2,000 for his efforts, the highest of his career to date. Kevin McDine
Kevin McDine (born 23 May 1985 in Wallsend) is an English professional darts player currently residing in Wallsend. Career In November 2004 he reached the last 16 of the JR & Vauxhall Holiday Park 128 Plus Classic. He improved on that performance by reaching the semi-final of the Norfolk Open in November 2006. Royden Lam
Royden Lam (Chinese:林鼎智; born 8 September 1975) is a darts player from Hong Kong. Career Royden Lam is best known as a soft tip darts player but also plays steel tip darts. In 2009 he won the Hong Kong Open by beating Liu Cheng from China in the final. In 2010, he lost in the final of the Japan Open to Kyle Anderson and in the quarter-finals of the Asia Pacific Cup to Morihiro Hashimoto. Stephen Coote (born 19 September 1970) is an English professional darts player. He won the German Open in 1999. He is not a full-time professional and works as a fireman. BDO career Coote made his televised debut at the 1999 Winmau World Masters, beating Matt Chapman in the first round, before losing in the second round to Dave King. Andree Welge (born 6 May 1972) is a German professional darts player who competed in events of the World Darts Federation (WDF). Career Welge made his World Championship debut in the 2002 BDO World Darts Championship where he lost in the first round 3–2 to Eric Clarys. Campbell Jackson (born 20 June 1981) is a former Northern Irish darts player who currently played in the Professional Darts Corporation tournaments. Career In 2010, Jackson won an Irish Players Championship by beating Shane O'Connor 6–2 in the final. A year later he almost won the Players Championship Grand Final but lost 6–3 to Damien O'Driscoll in the final.
