2013 Miami Hurricanes Football Team
The 2013 Miami Hurricanes football team represented the University of Miami during the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season. It was the Hurricanes' 88th season of football and 10th as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Hurricanes were led by third-year head coach Al Golden and played their home games at Sun Life Stadium. They finished the season 9–4 overall and 5–3 in the ACC to finish in a three-way tie for second place in the Coastal Division. Al Golden (American Football)
Alfred James Golden Jr. (born July 4, 1969) is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He is a former head coach at Temple from 2006 to 2010. He has also served for five years as defensive coordinator at Virginia (2001–2005) and five years as the head coach at University of Miami (2011–2015). He is also a former tight end for the New England Patriots of the NFL. He was fired from Miami on October 25, 2015. Jethro Franklin
Jethro Fitzgerald Franklin (born October 25, 1965) is an American football coach and former player who most recently was the defensive line coach for the Missouri Tigers. Playing career Franklin was born in St. Nazaire, France, while his father was stationed in the US military. He grew up in San Jose, California, attended Yerba Buena High School. He attended San Jose City College, a junior college, where he played both years and earned junior college All-American honors in 1985. He transferred to Fresno State University, where he played for two seasons. The Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens football team represents the University of Delaware in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) college football. The team is currently led by head coach Ryan Carty and plays on Tubby Raymond Field at 22,000-seat Delaware Stadium located in Newark, Delaware. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Larry Scott (American Football)
Larry Scott (born January 2, 1977) is an American football coach. He is the head football coach at Howard University, a position he has held since the 2020 season. Scott played college football at the University of South Florida. He returned to South Florida in 2006 as a coach. He joined Miami as the tight end coach in 2013. He became the interim head coach on October 25, 2015 after Al Golden was fired. After Mark Richt was hired as the Hurricanes head coach, Scott was hired by head coach Butch Jones to serve as tight ends coach for the Tennessee Volunteers in 2016. Micheal Colvin Barrow (born April 19, 1970) is a former American college and professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for twelve seasons.
