2013 Men's World Junior Squash Championships
The 2013 Men's World Junior Squash Championships is the men's edition of the 2013 World Junior Squash Championships, which serves as the individual world Junior championship for squash players. The event took place at the Hasta La Vista Club in Wroclaw in Poland from 16 to 21 July 2013. Karim El Hammamy won his first World Junior Open title, defeating Fares Dessouky in the final. Kush Kumar
Kush Kumar, (born May 29, 1996 in Dhampur) is a professional squash player who represents India. Kush Kumar graduated with a finance degree Trinity College. Kumar now works for a hedgefund called Matrix Capital Management based in Boston. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 89 in August 2015. He became popular when his Men's Squash Team won Gold Medal in 2014 Asian Games along with Harinder Pal Sandhu, Mahesh Mangaonkar, Saurav Ghosal. He is the only male player from India to have gotten a medal in the World Junior Championship and he has been junior national champion 9 times. British Junior Open Squash
The British Junior Open squash championship is considered the second most prestigious junior open squash championship after the World Junior Squash Championships. It is one of the five Tier 2 events in the WSF World Junior Squash Circuit. British Junior Open is divided into ten categories — Boys Under-19, Boys Under-17, Boys Under-15, Boys Under-13, Boys Under-11, Girls Under-19, Girls Under-17, Girls Under-15, Girls Under-13, and Girls Under-11. The Under-19 boys category was known as the Drysdale Cup before 1999; the Under-16 and Under-14 categories were both held prior to 1999, until being replaced by Under-15 and Under-17 categories respectively. The Under-13 categories were also introduced in the same year. The tournament moved to Birmingham from 2018 onwards, where the Under-11 categories were introduced. Daniel Poleshchuk (born 11 February 1996) is an Israeli professional squash player who represents Israel. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 87 in January 2023. Early and personal life Poleshchuk was born in and now lives in Ramat Gan, Israel. He is Jewish.
