2013 Men's South American Volleyball Championship
The 2013 Men's South American Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the tournament, organised by CSV. It was held in Cabo Frio, Brazil from 6 to 10 August 2013. The top two teams qualified for the 2014 World Championship and the champions also qualified for the 2013 World Grand Champions Cup. Initially, format of the tournament was two pools of three teams with semifinals and final. But, CSV changed format to five-team round-robin after Venezuela withdrew. Sidão official name Sidnei Dos Santos Jr. (born 1982), commonly known as Sidão is a Brazilian volleyball player, who competes for SESI São Paulo and the national team. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where Brazil lost in the final. He was part of the Brazil men's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in Italy. Luiz Felipe Marques Fonteles (born 19 June 1984) is a Brazilian volleyball player, member of the Brazil men's national volleyball team in 2005–2016 and currently plays for Japanese team, JTEKT Stings, on club level. He is the 2016 Olympic Champion, silver medallist of the 2014 World Championship, two–time South American Champion (2005, 2013) and gold medallist of the 2011 Pan American Games. Career Season 2012/2013 spent as a player of ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle in Poland. He won silver medal of Polish Championship and Polish Cup 2013. Rodrigo Daniel Quiroga (born March 23, 1987) is an Argentine volleyball player member of the Argentina men's national volleyball team and Polish club Jastrzębski Węgiel. Bernardo Rocha de Rezende (born 25 August 1959), known as Bernardo Rezende and nicknamed Bernardinho, is a Brazilian volleyball coach and former player. He is the current coach of the female volleyball team Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube. Rezende is the most successful coach in the history of volleyball, accumulating more than 30 major titles in twenty-year career directing the Brazilian male and female teams. Dante Guimarães Santos do Amaral (born 30 September 1980) is a former Brazilian professional volleyball player, who is best known as Dante.
