2013 Iowa State Cyclones Football Team
The 2013 Iowa State Cyclones football team represented Iowa State University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Playing as a member of the Big 12 Conference (Big 12), the team was led by head coach Paul Rhoads, in his fifth year and played its home games at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa. The Cyclones played in record setting temperatures: the hottest Jack Trice Stadium game at vs. Northern Iowa on August 31, 2013, and the coldest Jack Trice Stadium game at for kickoff and by the start of the second half vs. Kansas on November 23, 2013. Paul Rhoads
Paul Robert Rhoads (born February 2, 1967) is an American college football coach. He is currently an analyst at Ohio State. A long-time major conference assistant coach and head coach, he is best-known for his seven-year tenure as head coach at Iowa State. Rhoads played defensive back at Missouri Western State University. Playing career Rhoads was a prep special mention all-state free safety and valedictorian of his high school class at Ankeny, Iowa before lettering for three-years at Missouri Western State University from 1986 to 1988, where he played defensive back alongside Leland Williams. He graduated in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in economics and was the recipient of the Chris Faros Scholarship, honoring the program's top senior student-athlete. Curtis Bray
Curtis Sidney Bray (May 9, 1970 – January 15, 2014) was an American football coach. He was a coach for Duquesne University, Western Kentucky University, Villanova University, the University of Pittsburgh, Temple University and Iowa State University. Early years Bray attended Gateway High School in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, where he was a star athlete in football, basketball, and track. Bray followed in the foot steps of his father and uncles who played professionally with teams including the Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, Toronto Argonauts, Memphis Southmen, and the N.Y.
