2013 International Women's Football Tournament Of Brasília
The 2013 Torneio Internacional de Brasília de Futebol Feminino (also known as the 2013 International Tournament of Brasilia) was the fifth edition of the Torneio Internacional de Futebol Feminino, an invitational women's football tournament held every December in Brazil. It began on 12 December and ended on 22 December 2013. The tournament had previously been held in São Paulo but was moved to Brasília in 2013 at the instigation of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). Format In the first phase, the four teams play each other within the group in a single round. The two teams with the most points earned in the respective group, qualify for the next phase. In the final stage, the first and second teams placed in the Group contest the final. Should the match ends in a tie, the team with the best record in the first phase is declared the winner. Brasília
Brasília (; ) is the federal capital of Brazil and seat of government of the Federal District. The city is located at the top of the Brazilian highlands in the country's Central-West region. It was founded by President Juscelino Kubitschek on 21 April 1960, to serve as the new national capital. Brasília is estimated to be Brazil's third-most populous city. Among major Latin American cities, it has the highest GDP per capita. Brasília was a planned city developed by Lúcio Costa, Oscar Niemeyer and Joaquim Cardozo in 1956 in a scheme to move the capital from Rio de Janeiro to a more central location. Yanara Katherine Nicole Aedo Muñoz (born 5 August 1993) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish Campeonato Nacional Fútbol Femenino club Colo-Colo and the Chile women's national team. Club career Aedo left Colo-Colo for American National Women's Soccer League team Washington Spirit in January 2015. She helped the club's reserve team win the 2015 USL W-League season championship, scoring twice in the 2–1 final win over Colorado Pride. Brazil Women's National Football Team
The Brazil women's national football team (Portuguese: ''Seleção Brasileira Feminina de futebol'') represents Brazil in international women's football and is run by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). It has participated in eight editions of the FIFA Women's World Cup, finishing as runner-up in 2007, and seven editions of the Copa América Femenina. Miraildes Maciel Mota (born 3 March 1978), commonly known as Formiga ( pt, ant), is a Brazilian footballer who last played as a midfielder for São Paulo FC.
