Evelyn Stevens (cyclist)
Evelyn Lee Stevens (born May 9, 1983) is an American retired professional road bicycle racing, road cyclist. Early life Stevens was born in Claremont, California but grew up in Acton, Massachusetts, where she attended Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. She studied government and women and gender studies at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and was a member of the college's tennis team. After graduating in 2005 she moved to New York City where she worked for Lehman Brothers for two years, then for mezzanine fund Gleacher Mezzanine before quitting in July 2009 to take up cycling full-time. The Tour of the Alps is an annual professional cycling stage race in Italy and Austria. First held in 1962, it was named Giro del Trentino ( en, Tour of Trentino) until 2016, and run over four stages in the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region of Italy. In 2015, the race merged with the nearby one-day race Trofeo Melinda, and the 2015 edition was called the Giro del Trentino Melinda. In 2017, the event was renamed Tour of the Alps, as it addresses the entire Euroregion of Tyrol–South Tyrol–Trentino, formed by three different regional authorities in two countries: the Austrian state of Tyrol and the Italian autonomous provinces of South Tyrol and Trentino. Valentina Scandolara (born 1 May 1990) is an Italian road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI Women's Team, UCI Women's Continental Team . Career Scandolara was born in Soave, Veneto, Soave. She showed great talent in sports from a very early age, winning three National Champion titles in Cross Country running and one in Futsal, before committing full-time to Cycling. Shara Gillow (born 23 December 1987) is an Australian former professional cyclist, who competed professionally between 2011 and 2020, for the , , and teams. She was selected to represent Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she finished 13th in the time trial and 39th in the road race.
