Boels–Dolmans Cycling Team
SD Worx () is a professional cycling team based in the Netherlands, which competes in elite road bicycle racing events such as the UCI Women's World Tour. Between 2012 and 2020, the team's title sponsors were the Dutch equipment rental company Boels Rental and Dolmans Landscaping, a Dutch civil engineering company. Both companies terminated their title sponsorship of the team at the end of the 2020 season. Adriana ("Adrie") Visser (born 19 October 1983 in Hoorn) is a former Dutch track and road racer who lives in Wieringerwerf. Visser started her professional career in 2001, when she finished second at the Dutch road race championship. She came fifth in the time trial. In track cycling she won her first national titles, becoming Dutch champion in the 500m time trial and sprint. She also won a silver medal in the points race. At the world championships in Trexlertown, Pennsylvania, USA, she was seventh in the 500m time trial and eighth in the sprint and individual pursuit. She won a bronze medal at the 2003 World Track Championships in Stuttgart. In the same year she won the Dutch points, scratch and individual pursuit championships for the first time. The Women's team time trial of the 2013 UCI Road World Championships took place on 22 September 2013 in the region of Tuscany, Italy. The course of the race was from the town of Pistoia to the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence. Qualification Invitations were sent to the 20 leading UCI Women's Teams in the 2013 UCI Team Ranking on 15 August 2013. Teams that accepted the invitation within the deadline had the right to participate. The Italian team Vaiano Fondriest (placed 23rd) also received an invitation. Every participating team selected six riders from its team roster (excluding stagiaires) to compete in the event. 2013 UCI Road World Championships
The 2013 UCI Road World Championships took place in Tuscany, Italy, between 22 and 29 September 2013. The Championships consisted of 12 events for elite, under-23 and junior cyclists. It was the 86th Road World Championships, the 13th in Italy and the first time that the event took place in Tuscany. The different events finished near the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence. Host cities for the starts were Florence, Pistoia, Lucca and Montecatini Terme. Marketing Tickets for crucial points of the course in Florence and Fiesole could be bought in advance. Ticket prices ranged from 20 Euro to 100 Euro for seating near the finish line of the men's road race.
