2013 Bahraini King's Cup
The Bahraini King's Cup is a cup competition involving teams from the Bahraini Premier League and 2nd tier. Al-Muharraq SC are the current holders of the King's Cup, having defeated their arch-rivals Riffa S.C. 3-1 in last year's final. They have won four of the past five editions of the tournament, with Riffa claiming the crown in between in 2010. Draw The official draw took place on 7 February 2013. The results of the draw were: *Current champions Muharraq face Al Shabab. * Al-Najma take on Hidd SCC. * Al Ahli club face Al Ittihad. *Busaiteen Club play against Al Tadamun Buri, who beat Qalali to enter the tournament. * Malkiya Club face the Bahrain Club. *Al Hala take on East Riffa Club. *Manama Club play against Budaiya Club * Rffa Club take on Isa Town Club. Al-Muharraq Sports Club ( ar, نادي المحرق الرياضي) is a Bahraini professional football club based in Muharraq. It is one of the oldest sports clubs in the Arabian Peninsula. Al-Muharraq Sports Club has won the Bahraini Premier League 33 times. Al-Muharraq Sports Club also takes part in other sports like futsal, basketball, bowling and volleyball. Al Budaiya ( ar, البديع) is a coastal town located in the northwestern region of Bahrain Island, in the Northern Governorate of the Kingdom of Bahrain. It neighbors the villages of Diraz and Bani Jamra. History The town was founded by the Dawasiri tribe, but most of the tribe left en masse to mainland Saudi Arabia in 1923, after conflict emerged with the British colonial authorities. Many Dawasir tribe members later returned to Budaiya, with some still living in the village today. Khalifa Sports City Stadium, also known as Isa Town Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Isa Town, Bahrain. It is currently used mostly for association football. The stadium holds 15,000 people and was opened in 1968. It was last renovated in 2007. Facilities The stadium underwent a $24.4 million (9.2 million BHD) renovation in 2007 that incorporated natural grass on the main football pitch and constructing a new main stand that can carry 3,600 spectators. Tadamun Social Society (TASS) is a national, NGO, non-profit, and non-political organization based in Bosaso, Somalia. The organization is registered in Puntland and closely collaborates with line ministries to provide inclusive services to communities. Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa ( ar, حمد بن عيسى بن سلمان آل خليفة '; 28 January 1950) is King of Bahrain since 14 February 2002, after ruling as Emir of Bahrain from 6 March 1999.
