2013 BWF World Junior Championships – Teams Event
The Team event tournament of the 2013 BWF World Junior Championships was the fifteenth tournament of the BWF World Junior Championships. It was held from October 23–27, 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand. According to the Badminton World Federation (BWF) 32 teams have confirmed their participation. The winner of the tournament would have Suhandinata Cup for about a year until the next BWF World Junior Championships Team Event is held. Seedings The seedings for teams competing in the tournament were released on October 11, 2013. It was based on aggregated points from the best players in the world junior ranking. The tournament was divided into four groups, with China and South Korea were the two top seeds, and 2 teams (Indonesia and Japan) in the seeded 3-4 were also put into the same group. another 4 teams were put in the second groups. Hua Mark Stadium
Indoor Stadium Huamark ( th, อินดอร์ สเตเดียม หัวหมาก, , ) is an indoor sporting arena, located in Bangkok, Thailand. The original capacity of the arena is 15,000 spectators and it was built in 1966 for the 5th Asian Games. After renovation for 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup, the capacity is reduced to 6,000 seats and expandable to 8,000 seats. It is used mainly for concerts, badminton, boxing, basketball, futsal, and volleyball. Setyana Mapasa
Setyana Daniella Florensia Mapasa (born 15 August 1995) is an Indonesian-born Australian badminton player. Mapasa won a silver medal at the 2013 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team when she represented Indonesia. She officially became an Australian citizen in 2014. She was selected to join the national team compete at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. She was four times women's doubles Oceania champions from 2017 to 2020 with her partner Gronya Somerville, also two times champion in the mixed doubles event in 2017 and 2018 alongside Sawan Serasinghe. Mapasa represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She played in badminton women's doubles with her partner, Gronya Somerville, winning one and losing the other. Rosyita Eka Putri Sari (born 6 July 1996) is an Indonesian badminton player specializing in doubles. She is from PB. Djarum, a badminton club in Kudus, Central Java, having joined the club in 2011. She is the girls' and mixed doubles silver medalist of the 2014 World Junior Championships held in Alor Setar, Malaysia. Although she now specializes in singles, Kim's first big result in a major international junior event came when she and fellow singles specialist Lee Min-ji reached the girls' doubles semi-finals at the 2012 World Junior Championships. Heo Kwang-hee
Heo Kwang-hee (; born 11 August 1995) is a South Korean badminton player who was educated at the Dankook University. He was selected to join the national team in 2012, and joined the Samsung Electro-Mechanics team in 2014. Heo was the bronze medalists at the 2012 World Junior Championships in the boys' singles and team event, and Asian Junior Championships in the team event. Heo later won the boys' singles and mixed team gold medals at the 2013 World Junior Championships, and the mixed team silver medal at the Asian Junior Championships. In the senior level tournament, Heo was the semi-finalists at the 2017 U.S. and 2018 New Zealand Open. Choi Sol-gyu (; born 5 August 1995) is a South Korean badminton player. He was a part of the Korean national team that won the 2017 Sudirman Cup. Career Choi has been best known as a mixed doubles player since his back-to-back titles at the Asian Junior Championships in 2012 and 2013.
