2012–13 Ravan Baku Season
The Ravan Baku 2012-13 season was Ravan Baku's second Azerbaijan Premier League season. Ravan started the season under new manager Cevat Güler, having replaced Bahman Hasanov in preseason. Güler was sacked as manager on 25 August with Hasanov being brought in as caretaker manager until Ravan appointed Kemal Alispahić on 24 September. Alispahić himself was sacked on 21 December 2012, after 4 wins in 13 games, and was replaced by Ramil Aliyev. Ravan went on to finish 8th in the league. They also participate in the 2012–13 Azerbaijan Cup, reaching the Quarterfinals, where they went out 6-2 on aggregate to Khazar Lankaran. Ravan Baku FC
Ravan Baku FK ( az, Rəvan Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club, based in Baku, that plays in the Azerbaijan First Division. History The club was founded in 2009. In May 2011, team secured their promotion to Azerbaijan Premier League after clinching second place in Azerbaijan First Division. In club's debut 2011–12 season, Ravan ended in 8th position in Azerbaijan Premier League, the club's highest ever league finish. Following season, the club repeated its record by finishing 8th once again. In 2013, Ravan's ownership faced heavy criticism from local media, football experts and fans, for hiring and firing managers quite so often. Ravan were officially relegated on 17 May 2014 after suffering a 3–2 defeat at home to Baku. Łukasz Sapela (born 21 September 1982) is a Polish former football goalkeeper who is currently a goalkeeping coach for Resovia. Career Club In May 2012 Sapela was listed on a list of players facing match fixing chargers whilst playing for GKS Bełchatów in the 2003/04 season. Miloš Adamović (Serbian Cyrillic: Милош Адамовић; born 19 June 1988) is a Serbian footballer who plays for Javor Ivanjica. Samuel Barlay (born 15 September 1986) is a Sierra Leonean footballer who plays as a midfielder. He has represented Sierra Leone at international level. Club career Samuel Barlay was born and raised in Freetown. He started his professional football career with top Sierra Leonean club East End Lions in the Sierra Leone National Premier League in 2003. Mindaugas Kalonas (born 28 February 1984) is a Lithuanian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.
