2012–13 Purdue Boilermakers Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball team represented Purdue University in the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season . The head coach was Matt Painter, in his eighth season with the Boilers. The team played its home games in Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Indiana and was a member of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 16–18, 8–10 in Big Ten play to finish in a three-way tie for seventh place. After a first round loss in the Big Ten tournament, the school received a bid to in the College Basketball Invitational where they lost to Santa Clara in the quarterfinals. Matt Painter
Matthew Curtis Painter (born August 27, 1970) is an American basketball coach and former player. He is currently the men's basketball coach at Purdue University, having held that position since 2005. Before Purdue, Painter held coaching positions at Southern Illinois, Eastern Illinois, Barton College, and Washington & Jefferson College. Painter runs a motion offense. Painter's teams are also known for their "stout, stingy, defense" and their "overwhelming offense." Since taking the helm at Purdue, Painter's teams have consistently placed in the top 15 of offensive and defensive efficiency nationally. Trey Burke
Alfonso Clark "Trey" Burke III (born November 12, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines where in the 2012–13 season, he earned National Player of the Year and led the 2012–13 Wolverines to the championship game of the 2013 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Ronnie Johnson
Te'Ron Stephon Johnson (born December 12, 1993) is an American professional basketball player for the Niagara River Lions of the NBL Canada. He played college basketball for Purdue, Houston and Auburn. High school career Johnson attended North Central High School in Indianapolis. E'Twaun Donte Moore (born February 25, 1989) is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 2011 NBA draft after playing college basketball at Purdue University. Michigan Wolverines Men's Basketball
The Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team is the College basketball, intercollegiate men's basketball program representing the University of Michigan.
