2012–13 Pepperdine Waves Men's Basketball Team
The 2012–13 Pepperdine Waves men's basketball team represented Pepperdine University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. This was head coach Marty Wilson's second full season at Pepperdine. The Waves played their home games at the Firestone Fieldhouse and were members of the West Coast Conference. They finished the season 12–18, 4–12 in WCC play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They lost in the second round of the WCC tournament to San Diego. Marty Wilson (basketball)
Lamar "Marty" Wilson (born October 17, 1966) is an American college basketball coach, currently an assistant coach at UC Berkeley. Wilson previously served as head coach at his alma mater Pepperdine University. Playing career As a player at Pepperdine, Wilson ended his career in fifth place on the all-time assists list with 342 (he still ranks ninth). Under head coach Jim Harrick, Wilson was a backup point guard in 1984-85 and 1985–86, and the Waves advanced to the NCAA Tournament both seasons. A back injury sidelined Wilson for the entire 1986-87 campaign, but he took over as the starting point guard in 1987-88. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending knee injury in the 17th game of the season, though the Waves still advanced to the NIT. Tom Asbury took over as head coach in 1988-89, and Wilson's extensive rehabilitation paid off as he returned to the starting lineup as a senior and led the Waves to a 20-13 record and the second round of the NIT. Apple Valley, California
Apple Valley is an incorporated town in the Victor Valley of San Bernardino County, in the U.S. state of California. It was incorporated on November 14, 1988, and is one of the 22 incorporated municipalities in California that use "town" in their names instead of "city". The town is east of and adjoining to the neighboring cities of Victorville and Hesperia, south of Barstow, and north of San Bernardino through the Cajon Pass. Its population was 75,791 at the 2020. Tempe High School is a public high school located in Tempe, Arizona, approximately one mile south of Arizona State University. History Tempe Union High School was established by a vote of the people of Tempe in 1908. It was required, as the Normal School in Tempe (now ASU) no longer would enroll students with 8th-grade diplomas. Classes were held in rented space in downtown Tempe for the 1908–09 school year, as the school's permanent location was built. Cuesta College is a public community college in San Luis Obispo County, California.
