The 2012–13 season was Newcastle United's 120th season of professional football. They competed in the Premier League for the third consecutive season. Oldham is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, amid the Pennines and between the rivers Irk and Medlock, southeast of Rochdale and northeast of Manchester. It is the administrative centre of the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, which had a population of 237,110 in 2019. Tamás Kádár
Tamás Kádár (born 14 March 1990) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays for Nemzeti Bajnokság I club Újpest. He is a defender and is equally capable at centre-back or left-back. He made his debut for Zalaegerszegi TE at the age of 16 and has since gone on to win Hungary U-21 honours. Club career Zalaegerszeg Kádár made his debut for Zalaegerszegi TE in 2006. Ryan Donaldson
Ryan Mark Donaldson (born 1 May 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Morpeth Town. Club career Newcastle United Donaldson joined his hometown club at aged 9. He made his way through the academy to the u18s where he reached the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup in 2007 and captained the team to the fifth round in 2009 where they lost out to Manchester City. Philip Airey (born 14 November 1991), known as Phil Airey, is a retired English footballer, who played as a striker. Airey has played for Premier League club Newcastle United, Scottish Premier League club Hibernian, Blyth Spartans and a spell on loan at Whitley Bay. Club career Airey joined the Newcastle United Academy at age 10 and made his reserve team debut on 18 November 2008 against Everton as a right back. Samuel Adjei
Samuel Adjei (born 18 January 1992) is a Swedish footballer of Ghanaian descent. Career Adjei was born in Eksjö, Sweden. He was discovered as a 12-year-old by lower league Swedish club Waggeryds IK. In January 2009, Premier League side Newcastle United signed Adjei from Swedish Second Division club Jönköpings Södra IF for a significant fee. Danny Guthrie
Danny Sean Guthrie (born 18 April 1987) is an unattached English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder, who last played for Fram in Iceland. He has made more than 200 appearances in the Premier League and Football League and represented the England under-16s at international level in 2003. After running up gambling debts, he was declared bankrupt for six years in June 2022. Peter Løvenkrands
Peter Rosenkrands Løvenkrands (born 29 January 1980) is a Danish professional football manager and former player. He played mainly as a striker or as a left winger, and was known for his pace. Løvenkrands began his career in his native Denmark, winning the 1999 Danish Cup with Akademisk Boldklub. He then moved to Scottish club Rangers where he played for six years and won seven major honours, including two Scottish Premier League titles. He signed for German team Schalke 04 in 2006, but eventually fell out of favour during his last season there, and transferred to Premier League side Newcastle United in the winter of 2008. Alan Smith (born 28 October 1980) is an English football coach and retired professional footballer who last played for Notts County. He has also represented the England national team, winning 19 caps. Smith was known for his aggressive mentality on the pitch and his high-pressing style of football.
