2012–13 Leeds United F.C. Season
The 2012–13 season was Leeds United F.C.'s third season back in the second tier of English football which saw a minor flirtation with play-offs and later with relegation, but ended with a mid-table finish. In other competitions, the squad recorded their best finish in the League Cup for 18 years, reaching the quarter-finals only to be knocked out by rivals Chelsea. Similar progression was seen in the FA Cup as the team reached the 5th round for the first time since the 1999–00 season. The manager's office was vacated on 1 April by Neil Warnock after his promise of promotion appeared dead in the water, and the club actually on the fringes of the relegation battle. The club officials relieved him of his duties and after a brief period with caretaker manager Neil Redfearn in charge, appointed Brian McDermott as the club's eight manager in ten years. Chris Dawson (footballer Born 1994)
Christopher Gary Dawson (born 2 September 1994) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ossett United where he is on dual-registration from Buxton. He has represented Wales at under-21 level. He is a graduate of Leeds United's academy and has also played for Rotherham United and Norwegian side Viking FK. 2022 saw him re join the Crabs Pocket FC where he enjoyed great success. Dominic Poleon
Dominic Alfred Poleon is a footballer who plays as a forward for Ebbsfleet United and the Saint Lucia national team. He played youth football for Chelsea and Southend United before signing for Leeds United in August 2010. Whilst at Leeds he had loan spells with Bury and Sheffield United. Career Chelsea and Southend United Poleon attended Brampton Manor Academy in East Ham. Samuel Mark Byram (born 16 September 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right back for Championship club Leeds United. Club career Byram was born in Thurrock, Essex, before moving north, where he attended Ralph Butterfield Primary School, Haxby, and then Joseph Rowntree School in York. El Hadji Diouf
El Hadji Ousseynou Diouf (; born 15 January 1981) is a Senegalese former professional footballer. Throughout his career, Diouf played as a winger or a forward. Having started his professional football career in France with Sochaux, Rennes and Lens, Diouf finalised a move to Premier League side Liverpool prior to the 2002 FIFA World Cup for Senegal and went on to have a memorable tournament. Ross McCormack
Ross McCormack (born 18 August 1986) is a Scottish professional footballer who most recently played as a striker for Aldershot Town. McCormack started his career with Scottish Premier League club Rangers in 2002, where he made few appearances and was loaned to English League One side Doncaster Rovers in January 2006. At the end of the season he was released by Rangers and joined fellow SPL side Motherwell. Robert Snodgrass
Robert Snodgrass (born 7 September 1987) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Heart of Midlothian. Snodgrass started his senior career with Livingston. He also had a loan spell at Stirling Albion before moving to England in 2008, joining Leeds United. He helped Leeds win promotion to the Championship in 2010. In February 2012, Snodgrass was appointed captain of Leeds, but he rejected a new contract offer and moved to Norwich City later that year. Lee Anthony Peltier (born 11 December 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Championship club Rotherham United. While he has played in positions in both defence and midfield, he primarily plays as a right-back or centre-back.
