2012–13 LEB Plata Season
The 2012–13 LEB Plata season is the 13th season of the LEB Plata, second league of the Liga Española de Baloncesto and third division of Spanish basketball. It is also known as Adecco Plata in its sponsored identity. Competition format Teams will play a regular season with a Round-robin tournament format. The regular season champion will promote directly to LEB Oro and the last qualified will be relegated to Liga EBA. Teams qualified from second to ninth will join the promotion playoffs. The winner will promote also to LEB Oro. The two first qualified teams after the first half of the league will play the Copa LEB Plata. Regular season will start in October 10. Eligibility of players All teams must have in their roster: *A minimum of seven players who played in Spain during three season being between 15 and 20 years old.

The LEB Plata is the third basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system and the second basketball division organized by the Spanish Basketball Federation. Araberri BC
Araberri Basket Club, also known as Sáenz Horeca Araberri for sponsorship reasons, is a basketball team based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain. History Founded in 1994. In June 2011, the team promoted to LEB Plata, where it won one Copa LEB Plata and promoted to LEB Oro as winner of the playoffs in 2016. Despite this achievement, on 23 July 2016 the club announced it could not fulfill the requirements in the league and folded the professional team, maintaining only the youth teams. However, one month later Araberri was allowed to participate in the league and the professional team was reinstated. On 18 July 2017, the club announced it could not fulfill the requirements in the league and it appealed against the decision of FEB. However, they were finally admitted and registered for playing the 2017–18 LEB Oro season. On July 5, 2019, the club folded the professional team, maintaining only the youth teams. Tenerife Club de Baloncesto was a professional basketball team based in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. History Tenerife CB was founded in 1996 after the fusion of some teams of the islands and debuts in LEB Oro in the 1996–97 season, the first of this league. In the 2002–03 season, Tenerife plays the FIBA Champions' Cup and reaches the second stage. In the same year, Tenerife CB becomes champion of the Copa Príncipe and promotes to Liga ACB, where plays two seasons before being relegated to LEB Oro. In summer of 2010, Tenerife CB renounces to its berth in LEB Oro due to financial problems and is relegated to Liga EBA. In the next summer and after reaching the promotion playoffs, Tenerife CB achieved a vacant berth to play in LEB Plata, the Spanish basketball third division. Club Baloncesto Ambroz Plasencia, more commonly referred to today by its sponsorship name of Plasencia Extremadura, is a Basketball team based in Plasencia, Extremadura. The Primera División de Baloncesto is the fifth level in the Spanish basketball league system. Current format The Primera División works similar to the Tercera División of Spanish football.
