Tony Barbee
Anthony Michael Barbee (born August 10, 1971) is an American college basketball coach, and a head coach for the Central Michigan Chippewas men's basketball, Central Michigan Chippewas. He previously served as the head coach at Auburn Tigers men's basketball, Auburn and UTEP Miners men's basketball, UTEP. Barbee led UTEP to a Conference USA championship in 2010 and was named Conference USA Coach of the Year. Barbee played college basketball for UMass Minutemen basketball, Massachusetts under John Calipari, winning two Atlantic 10 Conference, Atlantic 10 regular season and Atlantic 10 men's basketball tournament, tournament championships in 1992 and 1993. The Charleston Classic is a three-day invitational college basketball season-opening tournament held in Charleston, South Carolina. An ESPN-owned and operated event, it is contested at TD Arena, home of the College of Charleston Cougars. Carolina First Arena
TD Arena is a 5,100 seat multi-purpose arena in Charleston, South Carolina, United States that opened in 2008 and replaced John Kresse Arena as the home of the College of Charleston Cougars basketball and volleyball teams. The South Financial Group of Greenville purchased the naming rights to the new facility and it opened in 2008 under the Carolina First Arena name. The 2012–13 Murray State Racers men's basketball team represented Murray State University during the 2012–13 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Racers, led by second year head coach Steve Prohm, played their home games at the CFSB Center and were members of the West Division of the Ohio Valley Conference. They finished the season 21–10, 10–6 in OVC play to be champions of the West Division. They advanced to the championship game of the OVC tournament where they lost to Belmont in overtime.
