The 2012–13 season was the 86th season in ACF Fiorentina's history, their 75th season in Serie A, and the eighth consecutive season since promotion from Serie B in 2004. The club competed in Serie A, finishing fourth for the first time since the 2008–09 season, and in the 2012–13 edition in Coppa Italia, where they were eliminated in the quarter-finals. ACF Fiorentina, commonly referred to as Fiorentina (), is an Italian professional football club based in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The original team was founded by a merger in August 1926, while the actual club was refounded in August 2002 following bankruptcy.
