The 2012 WAFF Women's Futsal Championship was the second women's futsal championship for the West Asian Football Federation. The tournament was played in Bahrain. The draw took place on 2 April 2012 in Manama. Iran won the tournament for the second time. Sara Bakri
Sara Abbas Bakri ( ar, سارة عباس بكري; born 1 November 1989) is a Lebanese former footballer and futsal player who played as a midfielder. She represented Lebanon internationally in both football and futsal. With seven goals in 22 appearances between 2006 and 2017, Bakri was the Lebanon national football team's all-time top goalscorer and most-capped player, before both records were broken in 2023. Early life Born on 1 November 1989, in Beirut, Lebanon, Bakri has two sisters and a brother. She began playing football at the age of seven. Club career Bakri played for Arz, before moving to Sadaka in the Lebanese Women's Football League. She helped them win several domestic titles. Abeer Rantisi (born 12 July 1987) is a Jordanian former footballer who played as a midfielder for the Jordan women's national football team and was one of its original members. She competed with the team at the 2006 Asian Games. At the club level, she played for Orthodox in Jordan. Shahnaz Yaseen Mahmoud Jebreen (; born 28 July 1992) is a Jordanian footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Jordan national team. Club career At the club level, Jebreen played for Amman and Orthodox in Jordan. She was nominated Best Player of the 2022 WAFF Women's Clubs Championship, in which Orthodox finished runners-up. Abeer Mahmoud Mubarak Al-Nahar ( ar, عبير النهار; born 13 February 1991) is a Jordanian international footballer who plays as a forward. Club career In May 2015 Al-Nahar played for Amman Club in a 5–3 win over rivals Shabab Al-Ordon, which secured the Jordan Women's Football League title. International career As a 15-year-old Al-Nahar was included in the Jordan national team squad who were beaten 13–0 by Japan at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha. Maysa Zaid Mahmoud Jbarah (; born 20 September 1989) is a Jordanian footballer who plays as a forward for Turkish club Ankara BB Fomget and the Jordan national team. She is her country's top goalscorer. Club career Jbarah began her career with Amman in 2000, before moving to Lebanese Women's Football League side Sadaka in 2007, remaining until 2010. In 2016 she moved to Abu Dhabi Ladies Club, staying one year, when she returned to Lebanon, signing for Zouk Mosbeh. Stephanie Mazen Yousef Al-Naber ( ar, ستيفاني مازن يوسف النبر; born 27 October 1988) is a Jordanian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Jordan Women's Football League club Shabab Al-Ordon and captains the Jordan national team.
