2012 St. Louis Rams Season
The 2012 NFL season, 2012 season was the St. Louis Rams' 75th in the National Football League, their 18th in St. Louis, Missouri, St. Louis and their first under head coach Jeff Fisher. Finishing at 7–8–1, they improved on their 2–14 record from 2011 St. Louis Rams season, 2011. In Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers, the game ended in a 24–24 tie, the first since the 2008 NFL season. It was Sam Bradford's second and final full season as the Rams starting quarterback as two torn ACLs sidelined him for much of 2013 NFL season, the next season and the entire 2014 NFL season, 2014 season. NFC West
The National Football Conference - Western Division or NFC West is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It currently has four members: the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks. The division was formed in 1967 as the National Football League Coastal Division, keeping with the theme of having all of the league's divisions starting with the letter "C." The division was so named because its teams were fairly close to the coasts of the United States, although they were on opposite coasts, making for long travel between division rivals. Defensive Tackle
A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that will typically line up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the offensive guards, however he may also line up opposite one of the tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's individual defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These roles may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. If a defensive tackle reads a pass play, his primary responsibility is to pursue the quarterback, or simply knock the pass down at the line if it is within arm's reach. Chris Givens
Chris Givens (born December 6, 1989) is a former American football wide receiver. He was selected in the fourth round, 96th overall by the St. Louis Rams in the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wake Forest. High school career Givens attended Wylie High School in Wylie, Texas, where he was a two-sport star in football and track. He suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in September 2007 to bring an early close to his high school football career. The Montana Grizzlies football (commonly referred to as the "Griz") program represents the University of Montana in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) of college football. The Grizzlies have competed in the Big Sky Conference since 1963, where it is a founding member. They play their home games on campus in Missoula at Washington–Grizzly Stadium, where they had an average attendance of 25,377 in 2016. Trumaine Monte Johnson (born January 1, 1990) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at University of Montana, and was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. High school career A native of Stockton, California, Johnson attended Edison High School, where he played football and was an unranked wide receiver prospect. College career In 2008, Johnson played college football for Montana, where he was a rare starter at cornerback as a true freshman. Isaiah D'Vaughn Pead (born December 14, 1989) is a former American football running back. He played college football at Cincinnati. Pead was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Janoris Jermain Jenkins (born October 29, 1988), nicknamed "Jackrabbit", is an American football cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL).
