2012 Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup
The Men's Pan-American Volleyball Cup, 2012 Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the seventh edition of the annual men's volleyball tournament, played by eight countries over July, 2012 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The event served as a qualifier for the 2013 FIVB Volleyball World League qualification. The United States men's national volleyball team, United States won the tournament for the fifth time after beating Argentina men's national volleyball team, Argentina 3–0 in the final. Murphy Edward Troy (born May 31, 1989) is an American former volleyball player, a member of the United States men's national volleyball team, NORCECA Champion 2013, gold medalist of Pan-American Cup 2012 and World League 2014. Personal life Murphy Troy married his long-time girlfriend Blair Tarnutzer on October 29, 2016 in La Quinta, California. Elvis Dalsires Contreras de los Santos (born 20 July 1979, in Tamayo), also known as Elvis Contreras, is a male volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who won the silver medal with the Dominican Republic men's national volleyball team at the 2006 Pan-American Cup in Mexicali, Mexico.
